Food was first class The room was very clean but a little tired, it could do with decorating. There is a safe in the room however it is not secured to a solid wall/stucture in any way it was placed in the bottom of the wooden wardrobe

This hotel was fantastic, we loved it. Food was exceptional also, the room was amazing, and the best bit was the historical book about the raynor-pritchard family, this in my opinion is a master stroke.

Staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very Downton Abbey yet with ultra modern Spa/pool complex. A great experience. The Hotel was kept warm despite the outside artic conditions. It was well maintained and fitted out expensively. The owners have spent a lot of money on upgrading and maintaining. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. Our original room had a small double bed. We asked for a larger bed and without problem were moved to a very grand room with everything we would want.

Our second time at Treysgawen and will definetly book again. Spa facilities are first class as are all the staff at this hotel. My wife has to follow a gluten free diet and the choice available to her was excellent. As for the food probably the best I've had for a very long time.Perfect weekend

Tre-Ysgawen Hall is a beautiful place, the staff are always lovely and attentive, we go there every year now, as we have just fallen in love with the place. The prices are excellent value for money, and the food is absolutely top quality, they put alot of thought into their menu, and everything is fresh local produce cooked to the highest standard. The spa facilities are very clean and well thought out, everything you would want for a truely indulgent stay. They really do go the extra mile and further...

It's hard to start! What a marvelous surprise when on arrived there. The staff were so friendly from the first second and this was how things were throughout the whole visit. The atmosphere was excellent - the hall had retained the warmth and luxury of a country house. This unfortunately only a one day visit - we'll be there again, but for a longer period next time. The Hall is so well placed for all that's so interesting in that part of Anglesey.

It was in a good position on the island and in a nice location We were accommodated in the old part of the house which was comfortable but because most guests seemed to be in the more modern part lacked some atmosphere

Friendly, relaxing (in bucket fulls) and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer. The food in the Clocktower was topnosh, compliments to the chef, I would recommend the steak and the Guiness was as good as Ireland'S. The grounds were lovely for a relaxing walk. If the weather had been worse we would have spent some time in the spa too, unfortunately the sun came out so can't comment on those facilities. Only a comment but we thought that it was very quiet at breakfast time, a little music would have relaxed the atmosphere. Oh and there was a massive cobweb (cmplete with spider) in the corner of the Clocktower restaurant - say hello if he's still there when you visit.

The Spa was lovely, very clean with everything working correctly. The lounge was a great place to meet before evening meal. The bedroom was super, very large with many amenities. I thought the entrance was a bit shabby with a cheap looking red carpet and tatty paintwork. Also the building is very dark and no lights were on in the hallway making it very depressing. I was with my elderly father and he struggled to see his way about. Our bedroom windows were filthy with bird poo all over them.

A quiet relaxing location away from the rush of everyday life. Friendly staff and good service. From the moment you pass through into the entrance lobby you can feel the stress fade away. The lounge with its range of books for perusal, the bar and the dining hall all take you back to a more tranquil time. The food in both restaurants was very good complimented by a comprehensive and reasonably priced wine list. The weather was so good we spent time walking in the grounds and sightseeing so did not use the spa - we will next time.

“In search of "Excellence" is the right way to sum up this hotel. In the context of the location it is a five star hotel. The staff, service and value at the price charged on this occasion, were excellent. There was a warm welcome and staff were enthusiastic about their hotel and eager to deliver their best. The absence of a lift is, in context of the size and age range of the regular population is acceptable. I have no negatives and would be delighted to stay with you again and again. I noticed that several non residents were using the hotel restaurant. This would suggest that not only is it the best hotel in the area but it is also the best restaurant in the area.
