Warm room and hostess. Great home made breakfast. Great environment.
Just a little bit difficult to find at night.
Great location to stay outside of Bath and commute. We stayed two nights. The couple that runs the Bed & Breakfast made us feel welcome. Restaurants within walking distance. Parking available
The combined refrigerator/warmer in the room did not work.
Beautiful B & B, lovely rooms. Tasty breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The house was beautiful set in its own grdens and very quiet setting. Th room was very big clean and full of character. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. The village was wonderful and a hidden treasure we eat out in a local pub that night and our meal was lovely. Would recommend Trimnells house to anyone wanting an enjoyable experience.
Nothing at all
Bed Breakfast Easy walk to,little village Pub dinner Old house ambience
The room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The owner, Mark, was kind and helpful, and the breakfast included in the price was good. We also had a lovely dinner at the nearby pub The Six Bells, where the owner and patrons were very welcoming.
Colerne isn't as charming as some of the other areas of the Cotswolds, but it is well situated for visiting Bath and Castle Combe.
We found the location very nice set within lovely grounds and were given the use of garden. We also were informed all local information and visits to the local village pub the Fox and Hounds is a must as we were treated like locals and found ourselves having all evening meals on the 3 days we stayed at Trimnells. Breakfast was good and all freshly cooked to order. Room 4 where we stayed was superb and the bed was lovely as was the décor. A very enjoyable stay and we would have no hesitation going back there again.
Although the breakfast was lovely and all freshly cooked the only thing I did not like was the fact we had to order it the night before. I don't have a problem with it but to be honest as a personal thing sometimes the next morning our breakfast habits change somewhat which resulted in wasting food but this really is a very minor observation.
Staff were friendly, rooms clean great choice for breakfast,by pre ordering breakfast minimised waste as you chose quanties and exactly what you wanted. Villae was beautiful
Beautiful and serene setting of the Trimnells House; away from the Bath-city rush, yet accessible via direct bus and park-and-go services.
A very comfortable and quite place to stay. Room is very clean and spacious. The atmosphere is relaxing, just feel like home. I highly recommend it.
Mark was really friendly and helpful. He recommended us places for parking, and a pub where we had a really nice dinner. The room was clean and tidy, and very spacious. The breakfast was also something hard to forget! We really like the tranquil environment and even took some pictures in the garden before we left. We enjoyed our stay very much!
Peaceful place, beautiful village, nice owners. Highly recomended.
Very quiet and price is good. The owner, Mark is cool but Sue is very kind and cheerfully.
The basin in the bathroom is too small.
We felt we were at home as the hosts were brilliant and we're very caring
There was nothing to dislike
Nice room, clean & lovely bathroom. Good location.
Someone in room upstairs very noisy until 2:30 in morning.
The single room, big enough to house a family. Breakfast was magnificent, and the service also top notch.
We enjoyed everything about our stay. Would stay again.
Very good breakfast. Good location for visiting Bath
Close to Badminton, excellent breakfast, could walk to 2 pubs for dinner, peaceful, quiet and ideal for our purpose
We stayed for 2 nights over the early May Bank holiday and couldn't have been made more welcome. We had 2 rooms, one for me and my husband and one on the ground floor for my 90 year old mother-in-law. The rooms were very comfortable, beautifully clean, tea and coffee making facilities, free wifi and lots of little extras. Breakfast was cooked to order by the owner Sue and was delicious. We all needed a peaceful break and we got that. It was an easy drive into Bath and the surrounding area. I would definitely stay again if we were in the area.
The house is a beautiful old property, right in the centre of a really nice village (good local pubs around)! The house and the room were very clean and nicely decorated. Staff was very helpful and the breakfast in the morning was very good and freshly made. Basically nothing to complain about. If you like the countryside, it is definitely worth a visit.
The building its-self is very nice. Massive rooms and very very clean. Good breakfast. Warm hospitality
The surrounding areas is not quite as a traditional village settings I would have expected.
Friendly host welcomed us and allowed us to drop our bags off early flexible room with superking/single beds nice shower good breakfast - freshly cooked
could perhaps ask if we want more toast..we were left a while (maybe a bell?)
The breakfast was excellent. Variety available was very good.
