Superb,
Score from 84 reviews
“ We had a very spacious and comfortable room with beautiful amenities. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. Trimnells is set in a very historically interesting area and is a perfect base for exploring the surrounding countryside. The host was helpful and suggested several sites to visit within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again. ”

Great walking trails, close proximity to Badminton, the traditional village setting, and I liked driving on local roads and avoiding highways.Thoroughly enjoyed a great breakfast every day. Would've like a TV channel which showed Badminton Horse trials.

Flexibility about early breakfast time. Acknowledgement of previous visit issues and appropriate remediation :) Lovely art work and decoration. Pleasant gardens. Bed just a double, bit small. Loose gravel in drive, awful for bikers.

Lovely house, lovely location close to Bath, Castle Combe & Lacock Good breakfast selection Good size rooms Friendly staff Nothing really, just don't let satnav take you there from the southern side A4 Bath Road unless you're a glutton for punishment or in a 4 by 4!

Nice simple b&b like a little hotel. A fairly good breakfast. The room on the ground floor in front of the kitchen is a bit noisy.

Really a nice and lovely place. Big room. Situated in village Colerne, close to Bath (12 miles/20 km). You have to go there, when you are around and have car. Very nice and accomodating family. Good breakfast. They only have 4 rooms, dont miss it. We definitly recommend it, you probably wont find better rooms in Bath. You must have a car.

Well away from the mass of tourists is this stunning stone home, our room was spacious, warm and very comfortable looking out onto a beautiful garden. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming, yet not intrusive. They even cater for disabled with one of those chair things that go up stairs for those who can'T. Very thoughtful. The bed was very comfortable, the facilities very good and the breakfast very nice, with eggs sourced from their own hens. The living room has everything you could want or need, comfy couches, latest newspapers, even a wii and foosball table if you are so inclined. The village is small but authentic, we had dinner where the owners recommended and the meal was very good. We met some local people who became friends very quickly, even getting hugs when they left. That was very special to us. Nothing, I guess for the young who want nightclubs it may not suit, but here was perfect for us as I imagine for most visitors.
