This 7th-floor hotel has fantastic views of Hull and the estuary, and is a 2-minute walk from The Deep aquarium.

This is a lovely hotel! The staff are very friendly and helpful! We had accidentally booked the wrong night and they made no fuss in rearranging! The room was clean and welcoming and the bathroom was also very modern and clean! We were right at the back of the hotel and facing onto the main road, which when we had the window open you could hear the cars but that never bothered us! Overall, we were very impressed with the hotel and staff, I would recommend East Park as we were there for a car show on the Sunday and it has a lovely boating lake too. The hotel is not far from there and only a twenty minute walk, plus you really can't go wrong with a six minute drive from The Deep! We had a fantastic stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone! The full English included in the price was also delicious!
Basic accommodation good value clean and spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast served until 0900hrs would prefer later finish say 1000hrs.
spacious and clean room with nice interior staff very helpful, but not very well trained situated close to the port- ideal for a stopover in Hull after arrival, but city centre is not in walking distance
room let to a busy road, heavy traffic starts early in the morning Water tap did not close
Location.amount payed.staff.breakfast.free parking.free taxifree shampoo/shower gel .will be returning .
No bath :( but not a Magee problem
The food was disgusting. The room wad a sham. The staff walking around in slippers. The staffroom upstairs smelt of wacky backy drugs. The staff was unpleasant and unfriendly.. they checked us into our room anf gave us the key and when we got to our room it was still unyidy from the night before from the previous people so we wnt down stairs and told the staff and we had to wait an hour for our room to be cleaned and they was nore interested in talking with each other from the night before and there hangovers then getting our room cleaned. We wasnt even offered a complimentary drink for our troubles.. disgusting and would never go there again..
Staff reasonably helpful, breakfast was quite good
Shabby furniture and fittings, noisy at night, poor facilities, no soap provided, lights didn't work properly, located miles from anywhere...
Secure car parking. The staff I met were very pleasant and helpful but a quality establishment it isn't.
The bed hadn't been changed although I was initially told it had been. A helpful staff member did change the sheets when I showed him thay hadn't. The shower wasn't clean it had old soap and a razor left in the cubicle and hairs in the shower tray. The bathroom floor tiles were loose, cracked and sharp. The breakfast was over cooked and not worth £5. It was cheap and I could see why, I have no problem with location or tired decor but basic maintenance and cleanliness are essential. This place failed on both.
Location. Breakfast ok
Rooms very basic walls radiators dirty. Furniture seen much better days. Carpets stained. Chipped cups kettle full of limscale. Beetles crawling on dressing table in the morning
Food was horrible was pink inside the steak far to pricey then went to the room to find light fitting out and a fitting on wall hanging then the bedding wasn't clean smelt of sex and to top it off there was a wedding a lot of drunks who was fighting till 4 In the morning. When I complained they never once offered a refund which would av at least been nice to say the least. Won't be staying again!!
The room we stayed in hadn't been clean this was disgusting hence why I will not be returning to your hotel
The helpful staff and prompt service and facilities. Breakfast was very good and plentiful.
The noise of slamming doors on our floor on Friday night which went on until 5.00 a.m. due to a wedding reception. No fridge ( which would have been a bonus ). Stained pillows.
The price was ok. Would definitely not be worth anymore that £40 for a double room though.
Food wasn't very good. A lot of items unavailable and what we did get was poor. Cheap meat, cheap cheese slices and wasn't hot/warm. The cleanliness was also poor, both in the room and downstairs bar area.
The room was nice and clean and spacious, good value for money and the staff very friendly and helpful
Spacious room Clean Refitted bath/shower room
Only booked this hotel because of the bed being described as extra large, was in fact a standard double and as me and my partner aren't the smallest of people we had a very uncomfortable night,my partner ended up spending some of the night on the floor!!we don't like to make a fuss so let it go. Then to top it off,we were told when we checked in that breakfast was from 8am to 10am,we went to reception at 9.20am to find out where to go,went to sit down where we waited with another table of about 8,there were 2 lots of cereal and a few tea bags but no milk, waited for 20 mins then asked at reception whether we had to order, then to be told that breakfast finished at 9.30!!!!we did get a refund of £10 cash but this didn't quite buy us a cooked breakfast somewhere else!!when booking a hotel you expect to get exactly what is described,we will be requesting a full refund although won't hold our breaths!!
Room was very poor very dark only one light working and that was over the doorway .do not think I would go back again.
Rooms where adequate for our needs as contractors and the breakfast was good .the staff where polite friendly and helpful
Too close to main road through hull awoken every morning by heavy traffic from 4.00 am As commented by other travellers the beds are very squeaky when you move We where there for three nights and the room wasn't cleaned once despite a request been made on second morning The menu advertised on the web site is none existent we had a burger and chip meal that frankly was put to shame by a McDonald's happy meal and where charge £8.95 for the privalage All in all a shame because apart from then traffic noise it coud be a good contractors hotel but nothing more .
Staff arrogant and unprofessional waisted my money and we didn't end up staying
sheet didn't fit the bed Telly didn't work Mattress grubby bed squeaky
The welcome was good and clearly the reception area had been styled to look smart. The hotel wasn't the best but was half the price of the other budget hotels. Whilst the area isn't the best it does have its own parking with security cameras. A taxi to the centre of town isn't very expensive. Ok hotel for singles but not for a romantic weekend away.
The room was tired and more water came out of the hose than the shower head.
Breakfast was good but didn't really do much, as was there for the night life and the football.
Didn't like the fact it was really far out of the city centre but again it's what you pay for. The rooms were decent however the bed's were amazing but again it's cheap and cheerful and I didn't have anything to complain about really. Staff were nice.
We stayed there for a wedding party . The party was a good evening and everything was great.
The room was set out with bed area with tv etc , then a slightly narrower part , with chairs wardrobe and tall mirror to dress infront of etc, unfortunately lights didnt work. The bathroom had no seat on the toilet and only one towel, i tried to ring reception on the telephone which didnt work.. So went down to reception to tell them. 20 mins later a young lad knocked on the door , handed me a towel saying "THE MANAGER SAID, YES WE REMOVED THE TOILET SEAT EARLIER BECAUSE IT WAS CRACKED". Then walked off. Anyway so not to spoil the night, Got showered , cut my foot on the broken floor tiles, and got dressed as my partner struggled to get ready using mirror in the dark.. The next morning about 9.15 am woken up by very loud dance music coming from function room bellow, mite i ad the music at the wedding party the previous night was nowhere near as loud as in the morning. Breakfast was served by a young lad in tracksuit bottoms and trainers which my partner found very unproffessional.
Struggling with this one.... The eggs were runny how I like them, that's about it.
Where to start?? It's in the middle of nowhere. The thread bare cord carpet in the room. Freezing cold with radiators not switched on. Walking straight in with no security at 4am. Unironed bed sheets, no cups for the tea/coffee facilities and no towels. When I got towels and undressed ready I found the shower head didn't fit the holder. Even worse when I turned it on water came from pretty much anywhere other than where it was supposed to. Basically not possible to have a shower. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone even at £45 a night.
brian the manager was really helpfull and made us feel more comfortable at the place he said if we needed anything just let gim no he went above to help out his guests and all the other staff was nice as well but I will defenatly let everyone on my camp no about the hotel and how welcoming it is and defenatly will be back
I carnt fault the place
