Troy Hotel

バス・地下鉄の駅・お店が近くて便利だった。

朝食がパン・シリアル・オリーブ・チーズ・ゆで卵だったので、物足りなかった。くだものかヨーグルトがあればまだよかったのに。立地条件が良かっただけに残念でした。

The hotel was small and friendly in a very convenient, nice residential location and was very clean and quiet. Facilities were basic but quite adequate for a short stay.

The floors creaked and you could hear people walking about upstairs and the bathroom was very small with no bath just a shower cubicle.

cleanliness and tidiness of the room, liked the flat TV, fairly good breakfast, relatively quite and peaceful location, but within 2 minutes walk from tube (Central line) and nearby pubs, bars, restaurants, shops; in front of Hyde Park and near the LondonTour bus stop. Really fantastic location!!!

if anything, the cracking of the floor from the room above, the pillows a bit uncomfortable and the toilet which was a bit tiny

booking.com stated it was an excutive room however it was smaller than a normal hotel room (couldn't swing the cat).

Hotel was very noisy (piano music, opera and choir practise could be heard from the next door!!!!!!!!). Also the room was extremely cold, and it was stated in the hotelbook in the room, that in this case to contact the reception, which I did, but the room remained cold the entire week I stayed there.

Although i have reserved a deluxe room and not a standard, but the receptionist during my check in, informed me that Booking.com have made a mistake and that there is no standard rooms in the hotel, only deluxe and superior, so he gave me the lowest standard of rooms in the hotel although i am paying for higher std.There were no internet in my floor although i have chosen the hotel for such reason

The place : near to an underground station

The hotel blocked the whole price on my account, in 2 steps "autorization " - after the sucsessful 1. blocking (1 night price) made the 2. (2 nights price) - I have paid cash - and the blocking is still active.

staff were boring....no energy. did not express any customer service or appreciation at all. double bed was two singles placed together and I hate that

Friendly and helpful reception staff

One think ruined my stay here and that was an extremely uncomfortable bed - the springs could be felt through the mattress, which was obviously very poor quality or very old.
