Well maintained hotel with a nice garden away from the main street. Short walk from the East Cliff and beach. Gave us a good feeling of staying in an English home. Linen and towels were very clean. Excellent breakfast and good coffee & tea options in the room.

The shower area is very small. Came across the same in other B&B where I stayed in Bournemouth and Brighton. Not really a big issue.

    - Beautiful hotel inside and out. Charming and clean. Very relaxing and quiet. 5 minutes walk from the seafront. Larger room is worth the money. - Breakfast was of very high quality.

    - Wifi didn't work at all during our stay.

No handwashing soap in basins. Hot and with windows open you could here the heavy traffic and peoples voices.

nice gardens ,hot cooked breakfast (would have liked a little more cereal choice )polite staff, good bathroom, although off road parking available not sufficient and had to park outside due to inconsiderate guests taking up space with bicycles take of rack which they could have left on there bur did so for the rest of the stay,

room had awkward angles difficult when getting in and out of bed, had very little shower wash in bathroom and did't replace when ran out had put old bottle in bin so staff could see this and didn't leave a note as it was obvious replacement was needed,no night security only a list of numbers for contact , narrow stairs to our room which was a top of house not suitable transporting large luggage or guests with breathing condidions

1 really nice building in Tudor style 2 good location in small street close to the shore

1 Bournemouth is run down: no real restaurant, too many bachelor parties... 2 Rooms are classic, but not really charming 3 Breakfast hours are hard to take for German vacation travellers

Great location and fabulous hotel & gardens. Was a 5 minute walk to sea front and 15 mins walk into town . Breakfast was of good quality and good service. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends

I can't put it under a " dislike" but only grumble I had was the bar opening times. I like most people would be out touring around during the day and maybe having an evening meal out. On return it would have been nice to have a night cap before bed but found that the latest bar stayed open was 8 pm and some nights was 6 pm. Maybe an idea to open bar from say 7-10 pm so at least people could have a drink before retiring to bed . Like I said it's only a slight grumble but overall enjoyed our short stay
