lovely large room in a beautiful building with secluded gardens and a peaceful atmosphere. When I booked the room it stated clearly that I would have a bath and a shower. When I got there I had one of the smallest shower rooms I have ever been in. I showed a member of staff the paperwork that I had and I was told they had 2 delux rooms - one without the bath (which I obviously had) I assume the other room was given to someone who had not booked through this site and probably paid... |

Nice building in a location that is easy access to the beaches and town centre. Rooms very small along with the bathrooms. Bed very uncomfortable. Noisy road nearby too. |

Loved the building, interior beautiful decor, very tasteful. Wish we had time to spend in the beautiful gardens. Breakfast was excellent. Only the bathrooms could do with upgrading. Showers were awkward to operate. |

Sympathetically decorated, lovely tudor style house. The hotel had a cosy, intimate feel and the full English breakfast was cooked and served to order in a beautiful wood-panelled dining room. The room allocated during our stay was situated in the eves of the house and had sloping walls which affected the use of the shower and would have been inconvenient had we stayed at the hotel for a longer period; nonetheless a lovely experience. |

The hotel has nice ambience and homely feel also the style gives it a unique appeal and I would definitely stay there again. The plumbing needs updating and some of the fixtures and fitting are showing signs of age. |

Location and the fact that it was a tudor styled facilty. The room and the facilty was very clean.First impression- elegant! The food quality was not great. For eg the Sausages for the breakfast, tasted like budget quality. The toilet was also very poor quality, in stark comparision to the property itself. It was small and not well maintained. However as mentioned the room and the facilty was sparkling clean. |

The room was very pleasant and comfortable - the breakfasts were fantastic!! One of the members of staff basically asked me to leave the lounge area of the hotel as it was not designated for residents - yet it was right next to the bar and had quite a few tables and chairs in it, so it looked like a public area. I felt quite offended by her reaction and she put me off the place a bit. |

The hotel looked beautiful from the outside and the room was lovely. However the bathroom was like a shoe cupboard and at £80 a night I would expect better. The bathroom was too small and facilities for breakfast were very limited. |

I was disapointed that on arrival, the booking which I had made over the internet seemed to have been cancelled or ignored despite the fact that I had full confirmation of the booking , we were left at the reception area whislt staff tried to resolve the problem. This infact would have been resolved when I telephoned them at your request , had a senior member of the staff answered the call . The room I felt was too small though clean and tidy. |
