The beautiful, half-timbered Bell is across the street from Tewkesbury Abbey. It has a friendly bar and restaurant and cosy en suite bedrooms, some offering views of the Abbey.

The staff and food were excellent
We hadn't stayed at Tudor House for several years prior to this visit and despite it still retaining its old charm it is in need of "refreshing".
Stayed in the Gazebo Suite and it was extremely spacious and clean. The staff were brilliant, mostly very young and a credit to their generation - chatty and very helpful. Ate at the restaurant on the night and food was lovely!
Just need a TMV valve on taps as water was very hot
Unable to adjust the heating, it was far too hot and unable to open the windows for fresh cooling air.
Nice old building
Waited for over an hour for dinner. Waiter mislaid order. Food good when it arrived.
What a beautiful hotel, in the centre of town with everything within easy walking distance. The age of the building is a joy filled with bygone artefacts. The food was superb and the staff a credit to the business.
Parking was cramped at the back of the hotel, some inconsiderate people took up two spaces which meant parking on the road, there are spaces (free to park) in the area but I usually feel more comfortable parking on site.
The room was very large and comfortable. The spa bath was fun.
The food and the staff - superb
Nothing could not fault it
There was an evident family feel to the building and the staff. Dietary requirements were taken care of expertly and there wasn't a glum face in sight. Felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay thouroughly.
Nothing at all. Would definitely stay again!
A lot of cobweb in the room and bathroom
Staff friendly. Food mouth watering, and worth the money.room clean and tidy. Shower fantastic
All very nice
We booked a four poster room which was simply stunning. The staff were excellent and couldn't be faulted. Will defiantly stay here again. 5+ stars
Having to leave.
Warm and friendly staff, good food at attached restaurant, building with character
Rooms vary from very nice to poky, patchy wifi at parts of hotel, lots of stairs
We had a warm, comfortable and spacious room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff.
Not a bad experience as such, but the carpet in the room could have done with a shampoo.
An excellent old building with lots of character. Absolutely lovely place to stay. Highly recommend.
old traditional pub in a nice location, staff were excellent throughout our stay, good choice of evening meal ( beef and ale pie takes some getting through) and breakfast one of the best we've had. Building is from the 17th century and full of character you could say some of the decor is a bit tired but for the price I'm not complaining. Would stay again
Decor a bit tired
food was excellent & staff very helpful & friendly.
rooms need a good clean especially the windows.
excellent staff who were very helpful. evening meal before show at the rose's was very good. All round good option
staff superb, room spot on , breakfast lovely
The manageress and staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and well equipped.
Building of great character. Room 1, stunning. Staff friendly and helpful. Great value for money, would expect to pay more.
For the price it would be petty to mention anything negative.
Ambience and history. Good food. Location ideal for sightseeing.
Noisy plumbing kept us awake most of the night. TV had no signal.
Tewkesbury, historic hotel, comfy bed, unlimted coffee with breakfast
Small room with tiny window in the roof
Family room very exciting for our 8 yr old, especially having his own area. Staff very friendly and helpful. V g breakfast.
Everything was great for our one night stay - just that it was too full to extend our stay that weekend.
Well located near to town centre shops, pubs and restaurants. Hotel parking is a bonus. Lovely English breakfast in character dining room. Room was spacious and clean with comfy bed and good view over the river. Would use again.
The hotel was wonderful. Old with lots of character. Room was spacious and had a great nights sleep. Nisha the receptionist was Warm, Welcoming and attentive. We would def go back.
The breakfast looked lovely...... But the mushrooms tasted of sour milk which immediately put us both off.We couldn't understand why they tasted so BAD. I did tell the morning staff and was told she would tell the chef. nothing else was said to us which I found disappointing customer service.
