Location , super breakfast, attention to detail, quirkiness of our orient express room, not for everyone ,as you have to climb to top bunk!, breakfast was superb with local produce
Nothing really, trains passing did not bother us ,but might annoy some
We had a good stay breakfast great.
Only thing we disliked it was very cold in the house no heating.
friendly staff dog friendly superb breakfast
no pub within easy walking distance
We had a lovely time from the moment we stepped through the door. Sheila is the perfect hostess, and couldn't do enough for us.
The occasional train passing by at night, may not suit everyone.
We like the friendly helpful owners who love to please , and the Full Monte breakfast.. The area and scenery is fantastic.
It's all been said. Lovely place to stay and even better if you like trains. Everthing you need and more. Well located for walking and plenty pubs and restaurants nearby. Sad to leave. A+
Sheila was a delightful host, hugely helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious.
before booking i saw a photo of a bunk bed online, so i called to ask if they had a room, reply was yes .. . i asked if it was a bunk bed . . . reply was no. they don't have bunk beds. well i was allocated a bunk bed in a tiny room . . . for £75 which i wasn't too impressed with.
Stay was excellent Sheila & Bob were very good host couldn't have asked for more.
Bob and Shelia were so accomodating for all of our needs, we were doing the Yorkshire three peaks, they ensured a continental breakfast was available for us, and also had a dinner ready for us when we returned. All the food and drink was amazing (local beers on offer!), and the service was personal without being too 'in your face'. Would definitely stay again.
Trains passing in the night. Although they were infrequent enough to not be a real concern.
The very warm welcome and attention to detail. Excellent room and super breakfast. The history of Tudor House.
Unique setting by the side of the railway line, really interesting to read up on the history of the place. Very friendly hostess in Sheila, made us welcome from the moment we arrived - lovely tea and cakes in the converted station waiting room, good breakfast and evening meal. All in all a great place to stay and would be happy to return and recommend to friends.
Location terrific Staff just awesome, so friendly and kind. Brilliant food. Just cannot fault this hotel.
warm welcome, well-appointed and comfortable bedroom, excellent breakfast, helpful staff, rural location with attractive views and unusual location adjacent to railway line.
Hospitality of Bob & Sheila was great. The quirkiness of building with railway alongside was so exciting and different. Breakfast was excellent lovely locally sourced food. Would highly recommend.
Nothing to dislike
Excellent location, Bob & Shiela are very friendly & helpful. Loved the room!!
the room was very comfortable with little touches like tea, chocolates
The friendliness of the staff, the facilities were excellent, breakfasts were first rate and the owners Bob and Sheila could not do enough for us. The warm welcome we received when we arrived.
There was absolutely nothing.
Excellent food and hosts
Very friendly owners, excellent food and ideal for Malham and Skipton. The lounge was cosy and with plenty of maps and books of the local area.
Nothing! An excellent place.
Warm welcome from Sheila and Bob, history of Tudor House (old station)
House condition is very nice.
Everything! Wonderful reception, breakfast the room and of course the location.Must be the best hotel we have ever stayed in.
Not to be able to stay longer! It was that good.
Tudor house is a delightful place to stay. Surrounded by the scenic Yorkshire countryside, it provides a cosy and comfortable retreat after a long day of walking. The Swanedale room was especially lovely with its tasteful modern decor, luxurious bathroom, glorious views of the Dales and all the amenities provided for a comfortable stay. The lounge is a cosy hub where you can sit by the wood fire at the end of the day sipping on tea. The delicious home cooked breakfast is just about the only thing that could draw you from the heavenly comforted bed! Fresh produce, a variety of options and all served with love. Dinner is also available upon request. The owners, Bob and Sheila are wonderful hosts and I would definitely recommend staying at Tudor House if you wish to experience a taste of true northern hospitality.
