Score from 219 reviews Excellent
- great food - great service - beautiful room - buidling with a history
- wifi was hardly functional
We stayed in room 2 which is beautiful with a lovely his and her bath. Breakfast and evening meals all to a very high quality and excellent value for money. Very friendly staff and we will definitely be returning.
Rooms were large, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Ensuite with great shower and facilities. Tea/ coffee facilities in room. Great breakfast with nice choices.
Had evening meal which was not great. Had duck which was served with carrots and frozen peas. Garlic potatoes not great either
Lots of choice of walking, swimming and sightseeing.
Narrow single lanes
Beautiful rooms with huge beds which you never want to get out of. Slipper bath with seperate shower. Rooms are roomy and very clean, iron with ironing board plus tea and coffee facilities with an assortment of biscuits. We booked into the restaurant which we had steak, which was absolutely delicious. Breakfast is huge and gorgeous. You can have fruit, cereal, full cooked breakfast or they will do their best to make what you like. This is our second visit and will definitely be visiting again.
The only thing that is negative would be wifi is not very good at all. You can pick it up in certain places though.
Room Food Location Staff
Fabulous bathroom, very comfortable bedroom, pleasant and helpful staff
Pity only 1 chair in the bedroom and no face flannels.
Excellent accommodation and facilities. The food was superb and the staff friendly and helpful. Location was ideal, between Pembroke and Tenby
Had a lovely stay at the Tudor lodge, we only stayed overnight but the bed was really comfy, the room was spotless, staff helpful and polite, and the breakfast was amazing.
The room (2) was spacious, comfortable and very beautifully designed. The food was beautiful and the staff were very helpful. I will visit there again when I'm in the area, to have a meal and take my daughter as there's a play area outside and a large green area for them to run around.
Friendly, clean, good food. Great stay. Even the weather was great.
rooms well presented breakfast very good
wedding reception going on so couldn't get to sleep until 1 am, we booked this hotel for a peaceful evening which we didn't get.
Room was fantastic and food lush
Miserable maintenance man and slow clearing empty glasses
Food Good quality of decor / furnishing Location
Bed in room 3 is a little uncomfortable for me Seating in this room was not the best and the armchair under the television made it difficult to read if it were switched on!! Admittedly, the room size and layout may make this a difficult compromise.
room was spacious clean and all you needed these rooms are fairly new and away from the main body of the pub so were quiet at all times if your looking for a view you would be disappointed as you were looking over a roof onto the garden behind we were there for three days and the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis to a very good standard, the breakfasts were plentiful and fresh to order and set you up for the day ahead
if you're looking for high end dining then you'd be disappointed this is a pub that caters for the lower end of the market burgers pies etc, getting in to town is expensive by cab £15.00 each way
No 2 Bedroom Rugs could have done with anti skid mats
Surroundings good.food good. Lovely furnishings.
Rooms too hot at night
Can't fault anything, lovely clean room , gorgeous evening meal, fantastic breakfast and very pleasant staff. Highly recommended.
Nothing to dislike.
Facilities were excellent and the owner/staff were very helpful. The meals served were also first class.
Location was more rural than we thought.
high quality level of rooms ,top standard
Bedroom, food, and friendliness of staff.
More extensive wine list.
Lovely stay in bedroom number 3 and breakfast was lush!

Food very good, very busy with families, but looked after the OAPs
Very hot in room unable to open window more than 2 ins,No Fan in bedroom, did not like the skip out side the front door,no marmalade for breakfast, always told it had not been delivered !!
