This charming converted 16th-century farmhouse is in Northwest London, a 10-minute walk from Eastcote Underground (subway) Station. It has Wi-Fi, and free parking on site. Small friendly functional hotel, good for commuting to London, without having to stay in London itself. Underground 10 minute walk, then 20 minutes from Central London. Breakfast the equivilant of higher quality hotels, and better than some - serving staff attentive and nothing to much trouble. Not a hotel for a long-term stay.

I chose the Tudor Lodge Hotel due to it's architectural design but mainly because of the location, being near a tube station for travel into London. I had also attended a christening at the venue 15 years previously and found it to be a very professionally run establishment with friendly and caring staff. I found the Hotel now to be run down with little evidence of building maintenance over the intervening period. The car park appeared to have been re-designed and upgraded which was good. The staff were courteous but weren't overly concerned in hearing my comments about the room I was allocated and took no action to address the faults. I mentioned that the top of the wardrobe where I placed my overnight bag appeared not to have been dusted for some time because when I took it down plumes of dust descended on me. The toilet did not flush properly either and this I commented on too after the first night. The bedroom window latch was also broken and views below that window onto a derelict roof structure were appalling. The floor in the corridor leading to Room 12 was so uneven with a dip in one location that I nearly turned my ankle on one occasion and stumbled on another. What saved the Hotel from being scored a poor rating overall were the two breakfasts I had which were very good. The breakfasts as previously stated were very good.

Overall, it was good value for the price. The breakfast certainly made up for any shortcomings - there was a good range of food on offer and it was of good quality. First impressions were not good - the grounds and exterior have a tired appearance. Things didn't get much better at reception - service was adequate but not particularly welcoming. We were unlucky in our room allocation in the old part of the hotel - it was cramped for a double room, the shower didn't work, there was only one cup and not enough sockets. Thankfully, we were offered another room in the newer building and this was much better.

Although outside area could do with a bit of tlc, inside the hotel has undergone a refurb. Excellent breakfast included in the price. Full english as well as juices, fruit, cereal , croissants. Good location for underground and visiting Wembley or getting into the West End. Ample parking.

the staff were pleasent and helpfull the room 41 was very warm and the breakfast was outstanding we thought having the bar closed on the weekends was a bit off putting for some people as you would like a drink when you would get back after a days shopping or sightseeing

Was concerned after reading some reviews, however for the budget price it was excellent value. Rooms clean, modern comfortable beds. Bathrooms bit tired, but perfect for our purpose - a trip to Wembley stadium as there is a tube, 5 stops to Wembley Park. Staff were very efficient and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and service great.

The Tudor Lodge Hotel is very close to our son's residence and is therefore convenient for visits. The breakfast was also very good and the room was comfortable. The fact that the bar is closed at weekends except for private functions is a negative and has previously resulted in us staying at The Barn or the Days Hotel in South Ruislip. On this occasion they were fully booked.

The room itself was lovely, excellent staff, good food, big car park and a good location. The only thing I'd say is that it was absolutely boiling in the room so we had to leave the window open, but the hotel is near a busy road so the traffic noise made it hard to sleep. However, this was the only draw back.

The hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout. Meals were superb. The single room I was assigned was effectively a cramped box room. At 6' 4" I felt that I was in a caravan. However - the staff, food and location compensated for this.

Have used the Tudor Lodge several times usually on shopping or exhibition trips to London. It is conveniently sited and close to the Underground. The rooms used by us have been good and having stayed several times always ask for 44 which is on the quiet side of the hotel. The breakfast is excellent both in its variety and quantity. We have also attended social events including a wedding in May 2011 where the catering was of a good standard. We will aim to stay there when we next visit London. Good recent improvement , the car park has been recently extended. Small grouse---the waitng staff can be occasionally taciturn though those on the Reception desk are always very welcoming.

It was a good location with free parking and transport facilities nearby. A reasonably small hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was very good too and overall we found our stay pleasant, we will definitely use the hotel again. The bed was a little lumpy and the pillows all hard.
