First of all; the breakfast was outstanding ! We rarely have eaten such a good breakfast (quality and variety). Our room (number 5) was rather small but the bed was excellent. The lady of the house is very friendly and helpful; she knows how to treat customers ! We will for sure return if we travel in the area ! Only a few minor items should be addressed : heating was not on in the room when we arrived (although it was rather chilly), shaving in the bathroom is not possible, and one has to ask for an adapter if you are a non UK visitor (adapter should be already in place in the room)

Good location. The owner lady is very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The room was too small. You could hardly move around. No dressing table in the room. I don't think the guest house is a 4* because of the size of the room, the furniture, carpets, doors and hall entrance to the room.

This B&B puts many far more expensive hotels to shame. The room was lovely and very clean as was the bathroom. Nick was extremely helpful, I got the feeling that nothing would be too much trouble for him.

Tudor Guest Terrace is a clean and comfortable establishment. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. I consider the price I paid to be fair and great value for money.

Beutifully maintained clean and fresh environment. A very warm and attentive welcome with good facilities and a superb breakfast. Nothing really to fault...except perhaps the water pressure in the shower was poor...however nothing that detracted from the overall experience.

I found the proprietor of the guest House extremely welcoming and very helpful. I was made to feel at home and although I arrived at a busy time I was asked if I would like a pot of tea and a cake in my room. This was a nice surprise. My room was very clean and there was the added bonus of toiletries. I will certainly book again, and will recommend the Guest House to my friends and family.

We were impressed with the high standard of Tudor Terrace. The rooms have all been tastefully decorated with modern facilities and it was very comfortable and warm. Breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice and good quality. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, and it made our stay a very pleasant one. We would definitely stay here again.

We were so impressed with the welcome. On our arrival I requested a twin room as opposed to the already booked double room and this was arranged immediately without any hint of inconvenience to the owner. Also, we were offered tea and cake (home-made!) when we checked in, a lovely touch. The decor of the guest house is of a high standard and very modern, too. Breakfast was scrumptious and served in the lovely dining room. We would definitely stay here again.

It is some years since I have stayed in a Guest House and did so with some trepidation. However, I need not have worried. The Tudor is immaculate, the rooms are light, well decorated and furnished and spotless. More than that, Nick and Maria made me feel really welcome and nothing was to much trouble for them. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to Cleethorpes.

The welcome from Marie who runs the guest house with her husband was very friendly. The room was excellently furnished and the shower room very modern. The have obviously spent a lot of money doing the place up and I am sure it was once very tired. Breakfast was very good, excellent vegetarian choice. I would stay again and recommend it highly

How do you rate perfection? Use Tudor Terrace as a benchmark, if something comes close, then you have perfection, its as simple as that. A lovely guest house run by even nicer people with a warmth of welcome I've never encountered before. The rooms are beautifully decorated with every need catered for including lovely Nutrogena toiletries, the breakfast is extensive and excellent quality. Location is superb, be it for the beach or town. But most of all, its the people that make Tudor Terrace an genuinely great place to stay. I know where I will be staying when I'm in the Cleethorpe's area again.

“What a Gem, We Can’t Wait to Return For More! What a lucky break we had when Rebekah and Tim had a last minute cancellation. The “open window” until the room was snapped up would probably have been about 2 minutes but we timed it to perfection. About 10 minutes after booking on-line we had a lovely email from Rebekah asking of there was anything else we needed and over the telephone she was so warm and welcoming as was Tim. On arrival we were shown to our immaculate room which smelled divine and furnished with home-made banana cake and chocolate cake, cups of tea and heaps more hospitality. The room was tastefully decorated with an antique brass double bed and a single, polished wooden floor and fresh flowers, lovely bath products and sparkling white, beautifully pressed Egyptian cotton bed-linen. Nothing was too much trouble so much so that when the headlights blew on our car meaning we couldn’t go where we wanted to on Saturday night, Tim drove us to the nearest supermarket for wine and Rebekah invited us to join them in a freshly cooked fish pie (luckily we had eaten because it was a very tempting offer!) Breakfast was excellent everything freshly made including the bread and Rebekah just kept coming with choice after choice of goodies. I haven’t seen such a great selection of breakfast choices in most 5* establishments. All in all we would like to say a HUGE thank-you to Rebekah, Tim and Felix for their fantastic hospitality and kindness, their attention to detail was second to none and we left them feeling we had gained some new friends. We will be back!” Kate, Ilkley |
