On an industrial estate & my tv remote didn't work
Kids ate free. Reception were flexible on check out when my daughter had been sick all night. Breakfast was good but water machines were confusing. Shower was good.
Keys kept deactivating. Had to go to reception virtually every time we went in or out of the room to get them reactivated. The lift was often occupied.
Handy location as local office is nearby Good value for money
Limited choices for dining if staying in the area for a longer period of time, no seasonal variations
Great marina and facilities nearby. Shower was fantastic. Room was very large.
TV was much smaller than in previous premier inns.
Facilities very good.
Could not sleep because we were too warm due to ineffective air conditioning. If window was opened instead of air con it was very noisy because of traffic.
Welcoming reception, clean comfortable room and bathroom, 2 comfortable pillows. Good varied menu for evening meal. Easy parking.
Very busy at breakfast - long wait for refills of fried food, croissants.
Staff were polite and competent The decor and furnishings were equivalent to some Hilton hotels Breakfast was broad, balanced and fresh
Didn't see a newspaper....... That would gave been icing on the cake
Meal Deal breakfast and evening meal super value for money
Very friendly staff with excellent location for the ferry port. Lovely breakfast with a wide choice.
Price as I never seem to be able to get special offers in school holidays
Staff were excellent and couldn't do enough in reception and restaurant
Comfortable room, very clean hotel. Staff very friendly. Bar and restaurant in hotel which was nice.
Outside traffic was noisy and could be heard during the night. Also was not aware that we couldn't pay with cash unless we had photo I'D which I didn't have and had no money to pay with card so caused a bit of a problem as they weren't going to let us have our room even though we had money to pay for it. Luckily my husband found his driving licence.
The staff were very friendly and really went out of their way on several occasions to accomadate us. The coffee machine at breakfast was a refreshing change to similar hotel breakfasts
The sink was in the room rather than the bathroom ( could cause problems when it's a family room and young kids asleep when you want to use it)
Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in all aspects. They gave us ideas of places to visit and looked up visiting hours for us. Even kept our icepacks in the freezer for us overnight for the next days traveling :-) . Fully cooked breakfast to start the day was lovely!
There was a slight cleaning issue which had been missed in the bathroom but once I showed them, the staff cleaned straight away and apologised. Apart from that slight hiccup at the beginning if our holiday nothing else to complain about!
This premier inn is in a very good position located between the port solent marina and gunwharf quays
The only thing i didnt like was the noise of the traffic especially when our windows were open.
The staff couldn't have been more obliging, when told the reason for our booking.Even offering us extra time on checkout,so we could shower and pack,on our son's hospital discharge. Thank -you. We are booked in at the Truro premierinn at the end of August and are looking forward to staying with you again.Great .
N/A. Nothing .

As always, generally very good but let down by the Residents bar mentioned in what I did not like.
After being told earlier in the day on the Saturday by the Manager that the 'Residents Bar' would be open until Midnight, on our return to the hotel at about 23:25 after a long day and looking forward to a quiet relaxing half hour with family sat in 'Residents bar' for a night cap, We were not impressed to find the bar had actually closed at 23:00 even though their were people drinking in the bar and the Night Manager refusing to serve us a drink because he said he was not allowed to!!! Being told that the bar will close at a certain time then finding to the contrary at what I do not believe is an unreasonable time to be served a drink especially on a Saturday night I find unacceptable Customer Service. We stay at this particular Premier Inn quite regularly and generally have no complaints. However one of the reasons we book Premier Inn is because it has a residents bar that on previous visits has always stayed open until midnight so giving us the chance to relax and reflect on our day over a quiet drink together. But randomly finding that the residents bar is not available at what appeared to be the whim of the Manager and for no good reason is not what I want after paying no small amount and would seriously consider one of the many alternatives in the future i.e. The Marriot Hotel. I could book a fantastic B&B for much less with no residents bar!
The friendly staff at reception on arrival, lovely Maria at the bar, and wonderful comfortable bed in a spotless room!! The free taxi phone (& rapid response time!!! Lastly ample parking with no surprise charges!!
Noise outside late in the evening and early in the morning
Never a problem ,we have stayed in several premier inns around the country and have always had excellent rooms, friendly staff, great food, good locations and plentiful parking
We were travelling to HMS Warrior for my sons wedding and the location was ideal. Staff were very friendly and very clean.
sleep quality Cleanliness Good breakfast
unusual bathroom configuration
Large room for 2 adults and 2 children. Tea/coffee etc in room. The shower room was fantastic. Breakfast was great value for money and all staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant.
