Premier Inn Castleford (Xscape, M62, Jct 32)  

Staff friendly and welcoming. Night staff particularly helpful and welcoming in the bar after a night out.

Stayed in a double room with my daughter, room size was great but would have been better had there been 2 double beds or a kingsize there is certainly room for either. Mattress was a bit on the firm side so was a bit uncomfortable for me.

Only one hand towel and the breakfast is good but too expensive and most people were going across to Xcape for coffee and breakfast

found our family room with 1 towel ? we had our own, but...... the room and floor plumbing had a severe problem which we covered up by spraying deordorent at regular intervals we didn't want to cause any fuss so soldiered on

The booking went wrong, ordered a family room, they only had the booking for a single person, something went wrong somewhere , the hotel did help and sorted it out

very polite and welcoming staff. Nothing was too much trouble, felt very relaxed, especially having a child with us, was visiting family in the area, will defo use again,

if was to be really picky wasn't keen on having sink on the outside of bathroom, ie: like to wash hands before leaving bathroom as more hygienic but all in all cant find any other fault

Hotel was clean and in good condition

Was sold WIFI at £3 per night at 6pm, which did not work. I raised the issue when checking out, the reply was 'yes we've been having trouble with that, I can refund it if you like'. I have 2 issues with this. 1. I had a lot of work I had to do that night using a VPN connection, I could not do this work. 2. If this was a known fault - why sell it to me when you knew it was not working?

The staff were very helpful and accomodating. Room was nice and big, although it had a king size, single and cot in there was still plenty of room

The staff were really helfull and the room was lovely We had adisabled room and it was all we could ask for we enjoy staying there as it is convieient us to visit our family

I really dont like the idea of two people booked into aroom and then have to remember to ask for extra towels Also we always have to ask for decaff coffee I think the staff could ask when you book in would you like decaff coffee and extra towels

Food was good price and really lovely. Staff were efficient and thoughtful - especially Hannah on the desk and the restaurant manager.

The price I booked through bookings.com wasn't the price I was asked for when I arrived. The staff allowed me to use their phone to query and the situation was resolved. Although I booked through bookings.com the search criteria I placed didn't make it to the hotel so they were not expecting the children. Was all rectified.

Very Comfortable bed, good size room. Excellent breakfast.

Sliding door to bathroom had brushes on the bottom that made a horrible noise when you open or closed it. If used in the night the noise woke my husband up. Next to Xscape, which has good immenities but also has a nightclub and you can get people with rowdy behaviour outside the hotel. This happened when we came back to the hotel. Police cars were outside the hotel and they had shut the bar. Police were escorting members of the public out of the hotel. If some guests use the nightclub and come back late and in a drunken state, you can also get woken up when they try to get back into their rooms.

So much better than what we normally stay in. Easy to find, clean/modern/friendly staff. Beds are very comfortable with good pillows, great nights sleep. In fact we were so impressed we immediately booked a night at the Premier Inn in York simply based on our experience !

Good location with plenty to do with kids. Good food places nearby.

Room smelt a bit damp and the bathroom in a family room only had a very small bathroom with just a shower which isn't suitable for young children.

The first Premier Inn I have stayed at and it was a pleasant experience.

it was spotlessly clean! staff were very friendly and eager to help! The location was fantastic with everything you need on the doorstep...shops , bars and restraunts and xscape!

Ive written an email of complaint and I'm awaiting a reply, appalled at the lack of customer service skills, people where smoking canabis in the room opposite, I tried to complain at reception, and the reply I got was 'why don't you open a window' for one smoking is illegal in public buildings and canabis which it clearly was as the smell was overpowering is an illegal substance! Disgusted!

Big comfortable room & quality mattress, big shower, posh sink. Room temperature adjustable.Good parking - good choice of cheap food in retail park surrounding hotel. Quiet room despite proximity to railway line & motorway.

Bar area a bit clinical.

Stayed twice now and both times had to ask for towels for my girlfriend even tho I booked a room for 2 people. Also for some reason I was given a disability room the last time I stayed and had to request another room.
