Across from a shopping village, next to Glass Houghton Train Station and the Xscape real-snow indoor ski slope, this Premier Inn offers free parking and rooms with luxury power showers. With good access to route A1 and highways M62 and M1, the Premier Inn Castleford M62 (exit 32) hotel is well placed for Leeds, Castleford and Wakefield. Some rooms can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children (under 16 years). The 2 children are also served a free full breakfast, when accompanied by an adult eating a full breakfast. The full all-you-can-eat breakfast has the expected cooked items, including vegetarian sausages, as well as a wide continental selection. The on-site restaurant offers good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Hotel Rooms: 119, Hotel Chain: Premier Inn.

Lovely staff that we very friendly all the time, felt very welcome and a warm reception, good location for Xscape and shopping centre, not too far to carry the bags! Would definitely use this facility again and would recommend to all friends and family.

The staff were all very pleasant & helpful. The room was adequate for a short stay . The bed and bedding were comfortable even though I prefer a softer mattress . The breakfast was excellent- good choice, hot , well presented. Overall an attractive reception,bar & bistro area. We did not like the position of the wash-hand basin outside of the bathroom in the main bedroom . Very odd design.

Went to pay in cash but as I had no facility bill, passport or driving licence with me I was told I could'nt stay !!!! I don't know anyone who carries a passport whilst in the uk and a utility bill whilst out !!!

We knew it's in an excellent location for a short stay.With J32 shopping Outlet,Xscape cinema,bowling,restaurants etc,Premier Inn is a modern hotel only a stones throw away. We will be going back,it's only thirty minutes drive for a great weekend away. Not keen on Carlsberg!

The rooms were very spacious, and the bed was lovely, we were greeted by a young receptionist called Hannah who was so friendly and helpful, we found all the other staff to be the same. The location is marvellous near to the race track and also lots of other shops and restaurants.across the road ski slope cinema an Italian restaurant all you can eat chinese, burger king KFC Nandos etc We had an evening meal in the Premier inn which we found very nice. The breakfast was excellent we found that to be very good value for money. all in all it was a lovely stay and hope to re visit in the near future. Hairdryer shampoo body wash and towels are all provided A couple of cupboards or drawers would be helpful in the rooms for if you are staying more than one night as there is only wardrobe space

The building is new, the room was spacious and spotless, with two queen sized beds.It offers free parking facilities. Although we arrived around 10 am, before normal check-in time, the staff went the xtra mile by finding a suitable room. Front desk staff was particularly friendly and efficient.

The staff! They were amazingly friendly especially to our son 16months old. He loved to walk all around the place getting under their feet but they were always friendly and never seemed to mind. A few days later we came back to visit and they still remembered his name! They seem to do multiple roles and help each other out. The heated towel rail was great for drying little baby socks and the room was spacious enough for cot and to open luggage in. Bathroom shower was good and sink had vanity top to place toiletry bag. Parking was free.
