Premier Inn Castleford (Xscape, M62, Jct 32)  

Noise levels were way too high. Carpark with 200 plus cars opposite all you can hear is car doors banging and boy racers! Also nightclub opposite with very loud music.... Till early morning! Beds are supposedly new, mattress was so hard I had to sleep in little sofa in room. This is not normal for premier inns. I use them all the time...

Clean, tidy, friendly, excellent value and very comfortable

I did like everything apart from noisy neighbours at night who woke me up at about 2:30 at night and I struggled to fall asleep again. I could have heard them talking loudly in the corridor and later in their own room which was next to ours. Apart from that, that time must have been the time when most of nearby night clubs were closed as there were a few other guests coming back to the hotel and all I could heard were smashing doors. I think next time I will chose some B&B so I will sleep well at night.

The hotel is perfect location for Xscape its a short walk across the road! The hotel facilities are very good, staff really friendly and helpful. We really liked the room good size and layout, breakfast was great well worth paying for..... Would definatley stay again!!

The only concern we had was when we went for dinner in the restaurant, we were left by the "wait here to be seated" sign for about 10 mins!! The guy on the reception had to go twice to get the waitress from the back. We eventually got a table and ordered with help from the guy on the reception. They appologised and I understand the waitress was busy but they could of sat us down and got us a drink rather than leaving us standing..... Food was lovely and whole stay was great, just a small hicup!

How close it was to Xscape

We arrived at 11:00 and asked to check in but no go in to the room until 14:00, we were advised no and that the hotel was full, but they didn't even offer to keep our bags for us.

Good location.

Sick in the room rather than in the bathroom - bit strange.

Accessible to all

Went to pay in cash but as I had no facility bill, passport or driving licence with me I was told I could'nt stay !!!! I don't know anyone who carries a passport whilst in the uk and a utility bill whilst out !!!
