Close to the city. Staff helpful.
Stayed in loft room with twin beds. beds firm and comfortable. Shower ensuite newly installed. Not only coffee and tea provided but also biscuits! good breakfast and smoked salmon special offered.
Ensuite cramped for my large frame so could only pee seated. Difficult to use blind on velox window so early light or blindfold useful.
Excellent location. Very clean.
Ungracious staff member: I asked if I could sit in the lounge to do my emails for an hour after settling my bill. This was agreed to grudgingly. It made me feel unwelcome and therefore unlikely to return.
Perfect location, breakfast was delicious from local sources. Clean and staff ,including owner Danny got me a taxi on short notice. Would stay again.. Jennifer Florida , USA
Excellent !!! The location, rooms, food, owner ... all were fantastic !! I have already recommended this B&B to others. We plan on returning in a couple of years time. :)
It was exactly what I was looking for - well-priced, comfortable and convenient.
The hosts were very nice. Good breakfast. Central location so almost everthing you is in reach without using the car.
Friendly staff. Clean, modern and well presented
Owner is very helpful. The B&B is extremely clean and tidy. Overall, a very comfy place.
Although not in, it was close to city centre. Sharing table for breakfast meant conversing with strangers and learning more of their views. Good well cooked breakfast with plenty of local produce.
Difficult parking with very limited on-street parking near to the premises. Some rooms are three floors up with poor fire exits.
Clean nad nice place.
The helpfulness and kindness of the owner was much appreciated. The breakfast was not included, but can be purchased at a reasonable cost.
Nothing not to like
Danny, the host, made our stay so enjoyable by his friendly manner, helpful suggestions re restaurants and tours and willingness to have a chat, making us feel more like friends rather than paying guests. He even parked our rental car in his own driveway. Fantastic breakfast for just £5.... best value we found in all of UK.
Nothing to dislike.
Staff were friendly, Good location, Rooms were quite clean,
£7 for the breakfast is an appauling. I ordered fried eggs and sausages and each morning I got 2 mediocre and overcooked sausages and 1 barely cooked egg. The beds were so uncomfortable I had found it more comfortable to sleep on the floor. If I wanted to sleep on the floor I would not have rented a room and slept in the park or bus station.
Good clean rooms Convenient to city centre Good breakfast Very helpful
central location, good beakfast, nice typical city, friendly hosts, Thanks Christine & Georg, Austria
relatively small rooms
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel 29. the staff was helpful and friendly. The accommodations were comfortable and charming. The location - just right!
Exceptional hospitality , great breakfast , Danny was the perfect host. I would place at the top of your list if travelling here.
Very kind owner
Room was bite too small

Early morning noisy seagulls
29 is very clean, well furnished and in a convenient location. The rooms have character, the inn keeper is very friendly and helpful, and overall we liked it very much.
