Good location, pleasant decor. Was surprised at the noise level. I had stayed here once before and hadn't noticed it to this degree. Like all London hotels in old buildings, there is no soundproofing/insulation within the building, so you hear everyone else's movements, but in addition this time I was badly disturbed by airplane noise. They would benefit by adding double (or triple!) glazing. Also traffic noise was an issue this time. |

Pleasant, helpful staff in all departments. Good choice of fresh food at breakfast. Excellent shower room with high standard of cleanliness. Location useful for business and leisure. Would have preferred a duvet to blankets and a work area in the room. |

I liked the details in the interior design, the bathrooms which are all tiled and have luxury soaps etc and the light switches itself on automatically with a motion sensor. They have good block-out curtains for those that like it dark and the staff is really friendly. Hotel is easy to get to by tube, location is quiet (for being in London) and there are numerous restaurants around! The bathroom was not quite as clean the first day as the subsequent ones but still very good. Old box tvs should really be replaced with LCDs or so as very old. Elsewise very enjoyable. |

Clean rooms, professional staff, competitive price, quiet location, very nice breakfastclose to Earl's Court tube station - overall, a very good choice Generally prefer to be closer to city centre - Belgravia or Knightsbridge areas. Earl's Court was getting out towards the threshold of where I would want to stay. Also, even with windows open in January, top floor rooms were very hot. No air conditioning or air circulation - don't think I would stay there in summer! Having said that, the hotel was still very good in all other respects |

Its location. Close to everything (including metro) yet quiet. Our "deluxe" double room was tiny. Also no kettle etc in the room. And the iron which was lent to me was at least 20 years old and in a very bad condition - I feared to electrocute myself! |

I was surprised at how quiet it was. The location was good for both tube and Earls Court. The food was very good (as a vegetarian) and the staff extremely accommodating. I found the room a little small for 2 people and would have liked somewhere to sit, not on the bed. |

The buffet breakfast was outstanding, availability of the courtesy fruit bowl and friendliness of the staff wins our vote for a value for money return visit. Contracted TV Screen. ( Could be our inability to to use the two controls but could not find directions on how to use and wasn't important enough to seek assistance from the front desk) |

We missed breakfast on Monday as we were only informed the time for weekends, but the staff offered us a pot of tea, some croissants and fruits at a lobby. We really appreciated! The room was very cold and the heater since the radiater wasn't working all the day. |

Room was excellent, good size and wonderfully decorated and fitted. There was a leak into our room in the morning which woke us up. They came quickly to help but couldn't really do much about it, put towels down and we decided to ignore it as it was the morning we were checking out. Sure they would have sorted it as soon as we left. |

The staff were friendlyl, the rooms were beautifully furnished and clean, the nearest underground station is just a 5 minute walk. When we called after booking the room we were told that our room would accomodate a small bed or cot for our 8 year old daughter. When we arrived, we were told that our room was too small for the extra bed. After waiting for a few minutes, we were told that the bed would fit in the room but we had to pay an extra 25 pounds per night. The day we left we overheard another customer having the same issue (except they had two teenage children and there was no way that they could all fit in the room). |

nice and light and airy and very good continental breakfast - all very fresh the fact that our room was unavailable on arrival and though we were upgraded to a double roo, the single bed was a z-bed which was extremely uncomfortable. £20 reduction offered or at a later date £40 voucher for a discount on further visits - most unacceptable and no further communication from manager. |
