I have stayed several times. I love the character, the quiet, the comfortable beds and the proper windows that open!! Breakfast is nice. And the location is very convenient..
Not having facility to make tea or coffee in room. The automatic lights plus fan in bathroom!
Luxury four-poster room, large, spotless bathroom, delicious continental breakfast and friendly, helpful staff
Initial room had a four-poster but was rather small, dark and plain. When we asked for a better room, the hotel was full that night but moved us next day to a beautiful room with which we were very pleased.
The location is excellent. Earl's Court station is a 3 minute walk and the hotel is facing a beautiful green square.
The hotel is just too old. The sofas, chairs, curtains in our room looked old and dirty, and smelled ancient... What was worst was the floor, it made so much cracking noise when we walked around the room. We could not sleep well because there was a lot of noise when the people one floor above were walking around and making cracking noises on the floor. With the amount of money we paid, we at least deserved a good sleep.
Free wi-fi Breakfast Staff Location
No kettle in room (although free tea and coffee will be delivered to your room). Banged my head on bed site units as they are to high in comparison to bed. Shower had no real power.
Love this hotel. Quiet location, beautifully decorated rooms, helpful polite staff, ticks all the boxes
My only minor issue is no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel bring them to you 24/7 which is a lovely touch but my Britishness hates to bother someone for a cuppa, would rather make my own.
that it was on the piccadilly tube line and close to earls court tube station.
we had a small double room and it was too small we couldn't lay our suitcases on the floor
Location, cleanliness Breakfast.
Cleanliness rooms Food
Slept in the basement and noise from kitchen woke us both mornings. House keeping disturbed us before 9:00 even though we were not checking out. We did not think that we would need to put up do not disturb notice.
No ac Room too small
Great location helpful staff .. I would have preferred rooms on the main floors
Not keen on the basement but otherwise it's a great place to stay
Staff swapped me for room with bath. One of best moderate priced London hotels
Plug in my basin wouldn't work. Couldn't make coffee in room
Great hotel, loads of bars and restaurants roundabout and a nice breakfast
A little pricey for what you get
Like everything about our stay. We got the Terrace Room on our second of three nites which helped with the size of the room. Otherwise the rooms can be rather small but to be expected in Europe.
Small rooms as most have large suitcases. But still doable.
Very welcoming and professional staff. Free WiFi works very well. Very clean and tidy throughout. Comfortable bed.
No double glazing. So can be fairly loud from outside during the day. Quiet at night anyway though.
The location was nice and maybe for a romantic person (not couple as the room - even double - is too small) this might be a nice choice, but definitely not for a working person like me. Staff was very helpful. Complimentary bottle of water and a welcome apple Wi-fi fast and for free
broken sink (disgusting) not even a minibar and tea facility in the room (you can order tea for free from the reception desk but it´s rather uncomfortable) the furniture is stylish, but the overall feeling is smudgy and worn out, bathroom rusty not worth the high price at all
We booked at the last minute and the hotel were very honest in offering us what they classed as a "small double". In reality the room was alot bigger than we imagined with a very decent sized bathroom. The hotel is immacuately clean and well looked after and the continental breakfast was very good and very fresh.
Good breakfast, helpful staff and good price.
Suite in basement is not up to standard of other rooms. Vents let in cigarette smoke from outside and room was cold. Would not recommend it.
Service, breakfast quality, excellent. Very clean and very tastefully decorated. Beautiful room.
Great location for Earls Court and even closer to EC tube, but set back in quiet square
Nothing really any issues easily dealt with by efficient staff
Everything was absolutely excellent, the service was second to none the room was beautiful. The good was gorgeous. I can't fault my stay at the hotel. Thank you
Balcony to the room Breakfast Bathroom facilities
Warm room - no air con Small room
Very clean, amazing room, brilliant beaks fast, good value for money.
Couldn't open the windows, it was a hot night and the bathroom could do with some work, no shelf for ladies toiletries and lighting not good for ladies makeup.
The unique and antique feel to the place was exactly what we were looking for. If you want to avoid the typicality of "deluxe" or "executive" suits, this is place the go! The quietness and cosiness of being tucked away, around the corner from Earls Court Station was also great, alongside the garden in the square which added to the feel of the location and our stay. The breakfast including was also fantastic and had a great variety to choose from!
Quiet location near tube station. Comfortable beds. Clean hotel. Breakfast very good choice. Obliging staff.
If hotels upgrade as your room is not available they should do this for the length of the stay. To be in one room one night and another the next makes for 2 unsettled nights sleep and no opportunity to unpack and settle in. The loo in the 1st room was so near the wall it made it impossible to sit on, even if your a size 6 and I'm not! Lovely room 2nd room ok but bit of a shift down when it was a special celebration break.
Very good location near Earls Court underground station. Set in a quiet road, pleasant staff, clean room & good continental breakfast. Our 2nd visit to this hotel.
We were in the Solarium (next door building) & although we knew beforehand it would be compact you couldn't get to the wardrobe without squeezing past a chair & there was no where else to put the chair. Floors were very squeaky. Reflected in the price for the room though & we booked very late. The main hotel is very nice.
