All the staff were friendly and accommodating nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels
Would like to see a little more updating.
Clean and tidy. Friendly staff.
Bathroom was SO small which was disappointing.
location was good for where we wanted to go
no place to relax other than room breakfast was not very good
Twickenham Guest House was very comfortable and the staff member on duty was excellent with his service. All together a very pleasant stay. Clean and the breakfast was very good.
The only drawback was the shared bathroom which was rather small.
Very close to station and rugby stadium
No mushroobs for breakfast
The carpet was filthy and general cleanliness left a lot to be desired. There were people in the Guest House outside smoking and making a lot of noise until 12.30. Wouldn't recommend it and wouldn't go there again
Cheapest in the location by far, and great value for the price. You still get what you pay for mind - don't expect too much luxury.
Reasonable value for money bearing in mind that I pad £64 B&B for one night. Kind, courteous, and helpful staff who went the extra mile to help.
Guest house décor was tired and in need of a "Make over".
No fuss, clean, handy.
Road noise, but it was very hot the week I stayed so my windows were open.
Friendly young man on reception who was very helpful, kept us car parking space. Offered to order taxis. Ground floor room which was great,as I suffer with leg problems. Breakfast very tasty . Good value for money and close to city.
The room was tiny The TV had constant satellite signal break up The breakfast was very ordinary The staff were not particularly welcoming I object to being asked to pay in full before I even see the room
Location is great, 5 mins walk from Twickenham train station, we stayed for the Hampton Court flower show. Friendly staff, value for money, would stay again.
Breakfast seemed a little chaotic as there was only one person to take orders, clear and serve.
Clean and staff helpful. Good value for money.
No cot available for an infant
Says there is car parking but had to pay for a space first night in a "Residents parking only zone" then had to hang around in the morning for someone to leave so I could park when I could of made more use of my time. Rooms small and cramped, toilet too close to sink, first night got locked in my room as key faulty and thought I would not get out. Showers need clean, toothbrush holder was dirty, no proper cups, curtains hanging off rails, very insecure for a woman on her own, residents were all men, felt vunerable. Toast was not toast soggy bread.
I was well looked after by the gentleman on duty and given an excellent breakfast
The room and bathroom were just a bit too cramped
The help of the owner and staff
The single room was so cramped you didn't have enough room for your suitcase and having a ensuite was ridiculous in such a small area
No parking when got there and had to walk up the road to get a ticket to park the car in a "Residents only area" so bit nervous about leaving it. Had to hang around in the morning for someone to leave before could park so paid again. Lack of security, felt very vunerable, could not open the door at one point from the inside thought I would be stuck in the room. Rooms are small little chalets on the back of a house in a cul de sac which has the main road right by it so very noisy. Breakfast the tea was already made in a perculator so stewed. Toast was not toast, lack of choice in the buffet dept. Rooms very tiny especially the bathroom could not move at all and showers not cleaned properly, Tea/Coffee facilities in rooms were poor, cheap awful cups no saucers, no biscuits etc.. tacky. Needs new carpets. Very overpriced for what it is..
Cleanliness of room Friendly and good with area, will explain where different places are Only 5/10 walk from Twickenham Town Good value for location and free parking on drive (limited spaces)
Lack of options for breakfast, emailed them with dietry requirements before I went (as they said to on their website) they did not act on this and i was not able to eat 95% of what was avaliable.
Price, close to Twickenham train station, spacious room with en-suite.
The shower - it went from freezing cold to scalding hot throughout my shower.
Location friendly staff
The breakfast could have been better
Staff's attitute and co-operation
No Wi-fii in room But staff was helpful Quality of breakfast could be improved
Friendly. Did what it said on the tin. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
quite reasonable price friendly helpful staff
noisy bedroom overlooking a very busy main road, traffic all night
Proximity to main road Mediterranean style courtyard
Main road noise Improve courtyard with planters
To have wi-fi is always a good point. 24 hour staff availability is good too. The bed was comfortable and, although I only stayed there 2 nights, was made up each night. The plumbing worked.
Parking was a bit awkward, but as I had to use the car to get to work, it wasn't a total disaster. I thought the fittings in the room were very cheaply bought (even possibly out of the 99p shop). One set of hooks still had some of the plastic clinging to it. There was no plug in the bathroom sink. When I asked the young concierge for a bed-side lamp, I was told that there WAS one there, and I had to drag him to the room to see for himself that it was missing. He looked behind the bed and the bedside cabinet and in the drawers before he was convinced that the previous occupant must have swiped it. I then had to wait nearly half an hour before I got one - this was 10.30 at night. The fact also that his English wasn't the best also was a bit of a drawback. I only ever saw ONE member of staff. There was CONSTANT traffic noise. My room was next to the concierge's desk. I could hear every snore, cough and whisper. The curtains in my room were hanging by dangerous looking bits of metal. I had to repair a bit of the curtain on the 2nd day there, as I think the cleaner had somehow damaged it. The shower door wasn't fixed properly. Electricity wires were hanging free from the walls. Some knobs from cupboard doors were missing. The bathroom was tiny, and there was some sort of smell in it that I couldn't identify. The dining room was rather small. The first morning was a bit worrying - all the residents seemed to be single men, possibly workers - one kept making noises and losing balance. I first thought he was drunk, but there might have been something wrong with him. Slightly disconcerting as he was ALWAYS there in the dining room, sometimes hogging the juice area. The hotel is obviously not purpose-built, it's a large house badly converted. My wardrobe was just a badly-enclosed alcove. When I asked for napkins, I was pointed towards a box of mens tissues. The toast was barely warm, never mind toasted.
