Alendale Guest House is located just off Weymouth’s esplanade, a pleasant short walk from the shops and restaurants of the town centre.

Very friendly and welcoming, had a great nights sleep
No Breakfast :-(
Everything especially the location, our room and our hosts
Owner was ver pleasant and helpful. My room had a fridge and as they do not prove any meals are happy to eat in your room provided sensible. Big bedroom and big bathroom but shower a little small. Would happily stay again
Would have liked a breakfast
the owner phoned us to see what time we were coming and said we could get in early which was kind. they met us very nice and gave us a car parking permit thanks. the room was nice. its very deceiving from the out side but the people and room was very good indeed theres a wetherspoon around the corner if you want a breakfast.
the road was really busy the hotel was on constant traffic but didn't put us off obviously it wasn't on the sea front but we enjoyed it there and well done
Room a good size comfortable bed fridge in room good size shower room excellent hosts
Not a prime location
Bed was big and comfy, had tea coffee facilities and a flat screen tv with dvds but thats where the positives end
No hot water in shower, no loo roll! Got woke up at 5 am by lads in room next door. Can hear pubbers and clubbers very noisy outside! The owners pets are under your feet going in and out. Cats lay all over the stairs and their dog growls at you!
Friendly staff Location Room facilities and comfort Great for younger children too
Lack of parking facilities but this is common to Weymouth in general.
superb accomadation. Thouroughly enjoyed staying here.immaculate room. loved the theme of the rooms. staff were fabulous. so happy we met you both and thankyou for a wonderfull stay. sue and steve.xxx from bath.see u next time. cant wait.
allocated smoking area
2 x Rooms (Double and singe) both had very comfortable beds and was nicely furnished and clean. Fridge was a nice size and milk was provided on check in. Owners were friendly and helpful. Large selection of DVD's available to view in room. Location is close to seafront.
Breakfast not supplied but plenty of places to eat in close proximity.
- family run small accomodation - room with fridge - comfy beds
- no parking at accomodation - no separate bathroom
Great location, next to everything
No privacy for a shower
Friendly staff and very near the front. lovely bay window and view to side
But noisy due to pub nearby butit stopped at 12
Mick and Julie are very accommodating and friendly...wifi signal is not very good in our room but non the less I was able to use the sitting area downstairs..will definitely come and stay again in twin palms if we visit Weymouth again.
looked like I had made a big mistake when saw the front door but beautiful inside. Fantastic window with sea view able to sit and look for ages. Double glazing shut out noise from street. Very helpful staff, fridge in room. Huge room with interconnecting door to child's room. Dvd player and selection of dvds in both rooms. We were advised about nearest and cheapest parking and able to check in early. A beautiful, huge interesting building. Good value.
Was not made aware of any kitchen facilities. Pub next door loud until half eleven. Other guests singing at half two. Uncomfortable single bed. This was unfortunate for us as we were leaving at 6:30 for the ferry.
It did what it said on the tin..... very central lovely comfortable room friendly landlady/landlord liked that there was a roof terrace (although it could do with a make-over)
Friendly staff, value for money, location, beautiful room
there was real milk in the fridge.
Stayed for one night. The "hotel" was very hard to find, a very small sign above the door, we missed it the first time walking up the road. I would not recomend this to any female traveller travelling alone. Certainly would not go back again
the view was good being able to see the sea. very welcoming. beautiful clean and comfy. large airy rooms and a peaceful roof top terrace. recommended. would stay again
I cant think of anything i didn't like
We received a very friendly warm welcome from the owners. The accommodation was very clean and obviously recently refurbished and was situated centrally. Free parking was 2 minutes walk away. The rooms were comfortable.
Wish we had booked a longer stay
Clean, spacious bedroom and bathroom. Very handy to beach and town. Friendly owners.
Street outside noisy but better when windows are closed.
lovely and clean luxurious rooms with good facilities. great room, friendly staff. just make sure you pre book a car parking permit with them as i left it too late and had to park a 15 minute walk away. would definately like to come back :)
Nicely decorated, good clean facilities. Comfortable clean bed.
Location - awful - very difficult to find even with SatNav. Just a doorway and a small sign stuck between a kebab shop and convenience store (doesn't show this on the web-site). Greeted by a 14 year old lad who did his best but not good enough. Rough part of town. Woken up at 3am by rowdy drunk three-some arguing about - well who knows? Wanted to leave early (worried about car in railway station car park) had to wake owner up so we could pay. Price was right but won't be going there again or recommending it to others.
shower with no privacy - old bedding - not luxury on suite - quite the opposite - no sea view even though advertised - in a busy street above a shop
Lovely and cosy Hotel, perfect location. Will recommend it to anyone going to Weymouth!
