Excellent food and lovely staff, very comfortable room ( we had a suite)
Dreadful coffee in the morning! The outside could do with a make-over
Everything was fantastic really can't wait to go back even though there was a wedding on all the staff made us feel very welcome
The staff made special effort to ensure my daughter and son-in-laws wedding night had those special finishing touches. The room / bed was decorated with some lovely finishing touches. MANY THANKS TO ALL THE TWIN OAKS STAFF FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
Loved the terrace and the shower, fantastic pressure.Staff could not do enough.
Room could have been a little cleaner, authough not dirty a little grubby around skirting boards. Edge strips in corridor not very visible would suggest contrasting colour.
It was quiet Lovely view from the breakfast room. It looked green and fresh dispite the rain I would not mind staying here again
The room was stuffy The bed was only very slightly hard and could be improved by adding a thin layer of memory foam to each mattress. You could do one per month to keep cost down
The hotel is ideally located when you are travelling on the M1. We liked the cleanliness and the decoration of the room. The bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the evening meal we had at the hotel. Bed and dinner were value for money. In general, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
Unfortunately breakfast was not value for money. There was only one person responsible for breakfast and he couldn't cope. I had to ask for coffee, croissants and fruit (included in the continental breakfast) myself. I never got the fruit. The toast was burned because of the toaster not working properly.
The staff were very accommodating. Rang as soon as booked to tell me there was a large wedding party in the hotel on Sat evening. When I asked for a quiet room they upgraded me to a suite at far end of faclity and apart from a false fire alarm ( not the hotels fault) everything over my 3 nights stay was peaceful.
Nice hotel with friendly staff
Restaurant was excellent
Mattresses were very obviously cheap or worn out It was like sleeping on a door That aside everything else was good
We had a suite room with a balcony which was perfect. Decor was 1st class bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The restaurant had a good choice of meals excellent value for money and excellent quality. Breakfast choice was also excellent.
The mattress needed replacing
Cleanliness Size of beds Manager very helpful when booking
Excellent food and friendly staff , couldn't ask for more ,great location for travelling ideal stopover
There was nothing to dislike
Room too hot. Heated towel rail had been on full blast on boiling hot day
Nice bar and restaurant. Staff very helpful and comfortable rooms. Good food.
Odd location, the outside appearance was drab and bland. Inside exceeded expectations. All charges were quoted 'less VAT'. When added the costs were quite high.
A good overnight or short stay base just off motorway even though in the middle of nowhere. Very friendly staff. Both breakfast and evening meals were enjoyable. I particularly liked the 3 price/ choice option on breakfast menu.Room seemed a little small but was very clean and comfortable.
I thought approach to property let it down considerably and presence of Saturday morning car boot a bit off putting but these were the only negatives.
Easy off the motorway. Clean and tidy. Nice staff.
Shower a little small. Need taxi into town.
Food was excellent, and the staff very attentive and friendly. We stayed in a suite which was spacious after our busy days out sight seeing.
Bit in the middle of no where if you decided to eat out. (We didn't)
Location and friendliness of staff. Evening meal was very good
Good room, good food and good location. What more could you want.
Cleanliness was second to none
Exceptionally large bed, but so uncomfortable. The mattress seemed very thin. When we had previously stayed at this hotel, we were given a standard room, which was superior in comfort and the bed had a memory form topper. With this in mind, we thought a deluxe room would be heaven. Very small room and uncomfortable,
Excellent atmosphere and staff
No decaf tea or coffee in rooms
There was a slight problem with the cards used to access our room and they had to be replaced.
