Formed from a derelict row of colliery cottages, Twin Oaks has been transformed into a beautiful modern hotel while retaining each cottage’s unique character and charm, whilst retaining the same home comforts,superb dining and the same warmth and charm as always.. The exposed arched stone work is complemented by modern, relaxing suites and an extremely well-stocked bar. In the warmer months, you can enjoy a relaxing moment outside in the beer garden, with a feature water fountain.
Right in the centre of England, on the edge of the Peak District, the hotel is within easy reach of the M1 motorways and local attractions such as Chatsworth House, Hardwick Hall, Bolsover Castle, Matlock Bath, the charming Medieval market town of Chesterfield and ye old Crooked Spire.

The Twin Oaks’ meeting rooms offer the perfect setting for a meeting or conference, with full facilities for all your needs. Early breakfast meetings and late evening meetings can be arranged.
The Acorn and Heritage View Suites are relaxed and comfortable and can accommodate theatre, boardroom and classroom settings. Both rooms can be set to your exact requirements and are ideal for presentations, meetings and training courses. Room hire is charged by the hour and a full range of equipment is available for hire, including: overhead projector; laptop projector; projector screen; flipchart (paper included); TV; and video.
The hotel is also licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies, Civil Partnerships, Naming Ceremonies and Blessings in the newly decorated Heritage Suite. Ceremonies and blessings can take place any day of the week subject to availability. You are required to liaise with the registrar separately regarding the booking and fees.
A range of hot and cold refreshments and food can be provided to suit your individual requirements, whether it be sandwiches, a buffet or a meal in the restaurant.

Twin Oaks has their own professional disco service which they regularly use for parties, functions and weddings, with an excellent selection of music. You can use your own entertainment service if you wish for a small surcharge.
Service by a dedicated team who are professional and unobtrusive, the restaurant serves fine cuisine prepared from fresh, locally-sourced produce. Whether it be for an intimate dinner for two, or a wedding banquet for up to 80 covers, Twin Oaks is the ideal choice. The chefs offer a wide variety of fine cuisine to suit all tastes, with extensive à la carte and carvery menus at fixed prices.

The charming bedrooms, which retain much of the character of the old colliery cottages, are both relaxing well equipped to meet your every requirement. Many of the rooms have great views looking over open countryside to Bolsover castle. Alternatively you can upgrade to one of the luxury suites, two of which have spa baths.
The area provides something for everyone, from roaming the hills of the peak, testing the water-sports at Ogston Reservoir or simply indulging in a little retail therapy at Meadowhall or East Midlands Designer Outlet.

- After 100 metres, turn left.
