Quiet peaceful location, very helpful staff, comfortable room and bed, well equipped bathroom.

Excellent location for Dartmoor,clean and comfortable room. There was a good selection for the really enjoyable breakfast . The dinner was excellent but more 'masterchef' than a normal restaurant fayre.

No shower screen or grab rails to bath.

My husband and I spent our wedding night here and have returned on several occasions for dinner and as a treat for my husbands birthday we had a night away. The staff were marvellous as always, they even have us the room we stayed in on our wedding night therefore it made our visit all the more special. The food was beautiful and all the staff went above and beyond to ensure comfort and enjoyment, we have never had a bad experience out the two bridges and will continue to visit them for many years.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel.

I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful, especially Tim who was very informative when asked about the history of the hotel. rooms were very clean, could maybe do with a little updating but nothing to put me off staying again. felt very comfortable and relaxed during my stay.

It was very relaxing, comfortable and welcoming all the staff were excellent.

The breakfast was slightly disappointing we ordered a full English breakfast and only had very small portions E.g 1slice of bacon 1 sausage. Considering we paid £140.00 for two people bb we would have expected more.

the friendly helpful staff and the lovely Victorian decor. I liked the family way in which animals - the hotel cat, the geese and the dogs of fellow guests were part of the experience of being house guests in a family home.

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff

I would have liked better TV reception. The pepper mills did not grind the pepper. Tried 4 only one sort of worked.

Friendly, comfortable and relaxing in pleasant surroundings.

Food was excellent but felt that the dinners would be better accompanied by a bowl of fresh vegs.

WiFi working. Room comfortable. Taps in bathroom are maybe a century off, but if you look for atmosphere that's your hotel. English style at its best.

The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We especially enjoyed the very high standard of the cuisine. As a cat lover, I have to mention how glad I was to see 'Mouse' there - he helped me as I was missing my own pet. I think he adds a homely touch to your establishment and visiting children enjoyed seeing him, as well as other adults.

The recception staff were very friendly and helpful, the service at the bar although busy was very quick and the room was clean and presentable

The evening meal was poor, I returned the first course as it was cold and ther was no improvement when it was served again , there was blood coming out of the pigeon. The steak I ordered as full of flavour but was at best luke warm and I could not eat it. I was especially concerned that although the Restaurant Manager had confirmed I would not be paying for the first course it was on my bill and the receptionist staff were not aware that I had sent the meal back.Alhough there was a lenghy introduction by the Customer Liason Manager when we arrived, the Customer Service really fell down over this incident.

Very quiet place to stay. Very romantic.

Breakfast was cleared away too early (before the time it should have been) and everything at breakfast just took too long. If it is supposed to be until 09:30 then the full experiance should be up until that time.

Service and food were excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean and comfortable.Will certainly recommend the hotel to friends visiting the area.

Nothing to dislike

Two BVridges offered luxery accomadtion at an affordable price. The resturant food was beautiful and cooked to our personal taste. The only thing that marred our weekend was the weather and even Two Bridges staff could not change that.Thankyou to everyone.

The feel that you are in a place which is truly linked to British History. Location is very centrale for the Moor, and the staff are helpful.

The location was perfect, the hotel was fasinating

Was dissapointed with the choice of food on the menu, there was noting I really wanted to order, I think the fish had been over cooked and had little taste, by the time we got to dessert, we didn't bother, got bored. Breakfast was better.

We noticed many of the clocks were not working in this hotel. THERE DID NOT SEEM TO BE A DISABLED CAR PARKING SPACE NEAR THIS HOTEL FOR ME, OR OTHERS TO USE!!
