The hotel is nestled just below Symonds Yat Rock and stands exclusively in grounds of almost 5 acres, overlooking the river. It has terraced gardens of magnolia trees and a well established wisteria.

Friendly Staff, location, beautiful scenery, close to plenty of other attractions
Location, equipment and fittings
A shelf under mirror in bathroom would be very useful in view of small basin.
Miki is very polite and kind. She may suggests you many beautiful places nearby to visit.
The host Nickie, the confortable room, the view and relaxing location, the house decorations, breakfast quality/quantity, the attention to details.
The bathroom is small but really clean and tidy.
Nicki could'nt do enough for us and was very friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy with loads of room, we would recommend ty bryn to everyone who would like a nice relaxing break.
Eating round one table for breakfast is the only thing we didn't enjoy.we couldn't fault anything else as it was all perfect
Views, House and Service
Buses didnt run regular and stopped at 6.30pm
The whole house was beautifully decorated. Very comfortable and I felt surrounded by luxury.
They went out of their way to supply a gluten-free breakfast. Views were amazing.
Very Clean, Very Friendly, Fantastic Views, Beautiful breakfast
We hadn't got time to stay longer!
We enjoyed a relaxing cup of tea in the garden on our arrival. The room decor was tasteful, with a thistle theme, and a lovely posy of fresh thistle and other mauve flowers on the mantle. The view from the bedroom window, up the Wye River valley was amazing. Nickie was a lovely host, with loads of helpful information, and even printed out trail maps for us from the internet. (Thanks Nickie)
What's not to like? although the drive is a little bit steep, so park in gear!
The house was very clean with excellent views over the Wye Valley. Nickie and Phil are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts are great. Nickie is always willing to provide information on local attractions and places to eat. We would highly recommend this B&B.
From the moment we were greeted by Nickie we were looked after in the house as extended family members.Nothing was too much trouble. Can't see it being bettered.Quality food and view to die for.
Nothing once the drive in was negotiated.
Everything including the friendliness of the hosts
Just very simple, very hospitable, good quality, great view, great location for other things, lovely couple, clean, good food, helpful, quiet.
Getting up the drive was a good challenge....but nothing to moan about in reality
The views and location are spectacular. The host Nickie is very welcoming and cannot do enough for you. The house is beautifully maintained and a great place to relax.
The only negative I have is that because of its location, it is impossible to get a mobile signal inside the house.
The warm welcome, extremely good food, comfortable bedroom beautifully furnished. Wonderful breakfast and excellent packed lunches provided. Perfection.
Excellent views excellent breakfast good location great for walking and restaurants very welcoming
Outstanding B&B with top-notch service from start to finish. Thanks Nickie for hosting our entire group. We look forward to our return trip later this summer.
An exceptional stay, great hospitality. The views of the valley were stunning. Immaculately clean and furnished to a very high standard. Nickie was a great host.
Nothing, not a fault to be found.
Great welcome! Walking with a friend in the Wye Valley this was a perfect overnight stay. Every effort made in terms of hospitality all done in a friendly and cheerful. Hoping to return and would definitely recommend Ty Bryn to others.
The location is simply superb, and the surrounding scenery is to die for. Quite literally, the front yard of Ty Bryn is the Wye River, and the surrounding woods are great to explore. Rarely have I been to a more idyllic setting. Nickie (the host) is simply great--extremely helpful and sweet. Breakfast was phenomenal and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We simply could not ask for more!
The driveway is difficult to manoeuvre, but this might take the cake as the "Year's Most Trivial Complaint"!
Everything, the welcome, the room, the view and the food.
Nothing to not like.
Immaculate house in beautiful location with stunning views along the Wye Valley. Friendly, hospitable owner serves a tasty fresh-cooked breakfast to order. Our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Good, fast and free Wi-Fi. I would unhesitatingly recommend Ty Bryn and would love to go back.
There was nothing that I didn't like about Ty Bryn.
