friendliness of the staff
Very nice location.
Make sure that you read the "rules and regulations" in extreme detail. We were asked to leave for a supposed "infraction". This has never happened before in any B&B we have stayed in, and we have traveled often in the UK and Europe using B&Bs for our lodging.
Great location and room, friendly staff, tremendous breakfast and evening meals. Good base for exploring the area or just to chill out and relax.
Beautifully clean, great food, good river side location.
Being close to the river, we did get some flies into the room when we left our window open.
Lovely quiet location. Comfortable and well equipped. Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Excellent food.
Only that it is a long way away from where I live
A lovely B&B in a tranquil location by the river with a beautiful garden and friendly service
The welcome. The quality of the fixtures and fittings. The beautiful and peaceful location. Being encouraged to feel comfortable in the garden and house. Opportunities to walk in the evening. The hosts.
A little tricky to find the house at the first attempt. This is NOT a complaint, because once you know the location, it is not a problem thereafter. Maybe a short note on the website to help first timers??
Very welcoming and gracious hosts. Beautifully located in coutryside, amongst lovely gardens beside river. Great breakfasts, comfortable bedroom. An enjoyable stay.
room, location, cleanliness, facilities enjoyment of garden, pleasant, helpful hosts
too restrictive practices eg breakfast 8.30 - 9am supplement charge for signing in after 8pm eg£8 per hour! evening meal 6.30m etc. too inflexible for tourists who want to make full use of the day and evening.
Location. Welcome. Room & balcony. Breakfast. Gardens, waw!
Rather late check in, 2.00pm would be better.
Location is incredible, beautiful grounds gor a lovely stroll, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the stay we had could not be better!
Everything. The food gardens and staff were just perfect and the room was comfortable with all the facilities needed.
There wasn't anything to dislike
Location and comfort
Too many rules, regulations and being told off by the owner
Hosts warm, friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable, lovely breakfast. Set in small but beautiful gardens and backing on to a very enjoyable river walk. We had a most enjoyable stay in this lovely part of the world.
Nothing not to like.
Everything really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it
Attentive owners met all needs. Beautiful surroundings.
Can't think of anything.
Slightly remote but very pleasant location. Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast.
There is no facility to receive guests after 20.30hrs. We explained that we could not guarantee to arrive from N.Wales before 21.30hrs. as my wife was working till 18.00hrs. A grudging exception was made to receive us upto (but not beyond) 21.30hrs. despite the owners being resident. This is a guest house and has private quarters. These were not well signed. My wife opened the wrong (unsigned) door soon after arrival. Sadly she repeated this error the following day and we were subjected to a hostile tirade from the owner. I believe it is his responsibility to clearly mark his boundaries and he had not done so. We are the guests. I have never before had such an experience - reminiscent of Fawlty Towers.
Beautiful garden, wonderful to relax in it near the river. Good information about the surrounding area.
We started off with being scolded by the owner for entering the property. All facilities outdated except for the bed. Not really a quality breakfast.
The views are fantastic, the garden just beautiful, even under cloudy skies and incessant rain! Hosts could not have been more helpful and friendly, especially when SatNav lets you down, and you need step-by-step driving directions (Thanks Paul!).
Super B and B in stunning location on River bank. Proprietors have worked very hard to make a beautiful garden leading to river. If you go, book an Evening meal!!
A delightful garden, a wonderful warm welcome, a delicious dinner and breakfast.
In "Swan" room a very creaky bed !!! We hope our hosts don't believe we are responsible!! We regret not mentioning it at the time as everything about the establishment was first class and on reflection we felt that they were unaware of the problem.
Location, location, location. Beautiful garden next to beautiful river
Our stay was just a fabulous experience from start to finish
Friendly helpful owners - nothing was too much trouble and even though we were delayed due to car trouble we had good food and a warm welcome! Lovely quiet location but easily reached. The river view from the breakfast room was beautiful. Great place to stay!
Having to leave!
Loved size of room and balcony with views of the river ! Waking up in the morning to the sound of lambs !
Would have liked a bath instead of a shower but thats just my personal preference!
