Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Nice breakfast and handy to have to Strand Cafe, Bistro and Bar all rolled into the same location

Our room was directly over the main road and we were woken up a few times during the night by juggernauts outside. As the room was absolutely roasting we had to leave the window slightly open even though it was cold outside - which meant the noise from the road below was worse than it may have been. There were only two designated parking spaces for the whole hotel which were accessed via a very tight alley. The parking outside was maximum 1 hour only and although there is free parking 200m away when you have a small baby this just makes things more difficult than they need be

Good value for money with very good facilities. Staff are very helpful and despite there being a problem with the heating on arrival alternative heaters were already in place on arrival. Very good food both at breakfast and in the evening.

Breakfast on the Monday morning (only) was slow and a little disorganised. (not the usual breakfast team??). Also despite the staff being aware that there wasn't any heating, no-one had used their initiative and lit the wood-burning stove that would have warmed the dining area.

Really beautiful, spacious room, well designed and comfortable - 'boutique hotel' at incredible value!

The WiFi router wasn't working, which it also wasn't the last time I stayed a few months ago. It's a real shame as I love staying here, but I do also need to get work done - if they get it fixed it'll guarantee future visits, but I will have to ring next time to check before booking!

very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food, excellent service, very clean and well appt'd rooms, we would use them again without hesitation.

I had a fantastic room with a very comfortable double bed and an upstairs sitting area with sofa, television and log effect fire! There were even home made biscuits and a delicious breakfast If all the rooms are as lovely as this, I would recommend it to anyone. Fantastic value for money.

I had to park about 5 minutes walk away as the advertised parking was impossible to access.

Excellent place to stay,friendly staff,great food,spotless throughout.I Travel all over the country and can say that this is one of the best places I have ever stayed.

We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and superb breakfast. The 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and it was great that we could bring our dog! Thanks very much, we shall definitely return.
