The room was fully kitted out for disabilities
The address on the website does not take you to the hotel by Satnav !!
The meal was nice and food served well. The hotel had homely feel and downstairs was nice to relax in.
Booked this for a treat for my wife's birthday and booked the more expensive room with four poster. The bed wasn't very comfortable but what was worse was the constant noise which we thought was a generator of some kind. We thought it would knock off around midnight but it kept going and as result we decided to leave early hours of the morning. The man on the desk didn't seem sympathetic and didn't take forward our complaint telling us to write a letter to manager. It ruined a very rare chance to spoil my wife who has had some difficult times recently. I don't think we will go back.
Could do with a refresh in rooms.
Was made to feel very welcome staff were polite and the food was excellent
Bedroom was large and well equipped Dining Room and Lounge newly refurbished and very modern and comfortable. Food was great and reasonably priced and service was very good indeed.
Some of the communial areas and corridors need refreshing as a bit shabby Bedroom decor needed some refreshing and would benifit from a small fridge. Carpark needs somemore work as large areas of mud and puddles especially in the lower area.
friendly service comfortable bed excellent breakfast
slow service at breakfast
Staff are nice and polite Excellent food
WIFI was difficult and not available in the room Very pricey food and drink
food was good comfortable room staff very helpful
Bed very soft and small.
the room was really comfortable, good size, and nice comfortable twin beds. the location was easy to find, in a quiet situation, but not too far to the main roads, the food was excellent, we had two lovely meals in the restaurant, and the buffet breakfast was very good, we would certainly stay there again.
Location good for family visit. Morning manager at restaurant and receptionist very pleasant.
Room damp and bathroom flooded. Restaurant slow service, rude manager and food over priced for quality and qty. Reduction in final bill compensated for poor meal but did not reflect poor accommodation. Paid but did not feel happy with outcome.
Good breakfast, reasonably friendly staff
Room was a little dingy, but not too bad
We stayed in the Long Meadow Suite with a shower over bath. Bath screen not sealed properly which resulted in a flood on the floor, we had to mop it up with towels. Told reception and their solution was to offer us a free bottle of wine with our dinner, and when we went to pay for our dinner the wine was included on the bill. Said there had been no previous complaints about shower even though it was obvious it was a reoccurring issue as the bathroom door was rotting. The toilet brush was a disgrace. Tinned tomatoes for breakfast and instant coffee.
Friendly antidote to manufactured chain hotels with great food.
Price of beer!
Nothing (but restaurant was fully booked so had to go out to est)
This lovely hotel, tucked away in the Brecon Beacons is a real find. As well as being pristinely clean - the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful. Even though we'd missed the lunch time - they still served up a feast.
Staff were lovely apart from resteraunt staff didnt seem to know much. We were told on our booking that we would either get a jacuzzi bath or 4 poster bed however we got neither. It was awful by any means but I felt we paid over the odds for such a basic hotel.
Superb food at very reasonable prices on attached restaurant.
The staff were friendly, efficient and courteous. The venue is beautiful and grounds pretty. Even though I was early, a room was free for me to check-in. Lovely food. Drinks not overly expensive. Good power shower.
My room was a double but was terribly small and the bed was tiny - would have been extremely uncomfortable for two people - Room 3. Just a small detail but important - the shower curtain was badly stained at the bottom. Some hand/body cream would be a nice touch!
Too early check out
Friendly warm welcome lovely location comfortable room easy to find good parking very nice meals.
Would like tablecloths on table for evening meal not a criticism but a personal preference. Cannot fault service or food. Braised beef was excellent
Restaurant staff were really helpful and friendly. Food was delicious, both for a meal in the evening and for breakfast. Lovely setting.
My single room lacked ventilation and looked out over a flat roof. The bathroom was in desperate need of a refurbishment.
Stunning location.food at wedding was very nice.best breakfast I've ever had in a hotel.
The man on reception had a terrible attitude.
staff friendly good atmosphere
we booked a Superior Double Room but didn't get either a four poster or the hot tub and the packed meals are not worth the money we booked 2 tuna red onion salad packed meals one on brown one on white bread ended up both on white with no salad at all
