The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and VERY clean. Would definitely stay there again and recommend it.
Comfort & Value
Very comfortable and very welcoming a bit loud but to be expected
Noise but to be expected.
All except the breakfast and staff serving it.
The breakfast and the staff serving it.
4 poster bed
I was on my own!!
Lovely breakfast, lovely staff, interesting building.
The TV Sports Bar, plain and uncomfortable. Came by train and the hotel is a good ten minute walk, not five as advertised.
Pretty much everything ..including the resident moggie!
All pillows were the same therefore unable to choose firmness.
Staff were very helpful. Room was nice and clean and very spacious as we had a seating area where the television was which was an added bonus.
Housekeeper came in to the room and we had locked it but it was okay we didn't put a DO NOT DISTURB on the door so it was understandable but we were sleeping.
The whole experience
We stayed only one night because our visit to the area was to attend a funeral. The booking was smooth, and we had a quiet room - admittedly at the end of several corridors with steps, which was not a problem for us. Did not try the free Wi-Fi, but it was available. We would happily stay there again.
The car park was not easy to find in the dark, and we were unsure that the "pay & display2 park was the right one. It was, and as residents we were given a free parking pass, so in the end it worked well.
Our stay at tyacks was very good there were alot of Christmas partys going on so the atmosphere was amazing the staff were very accommodating and friendly would definitely recommend and stay there again .
breakfast handy location in town free parking. super bathroom room warm
had to go outside to get mobile phone signal it was raining.
Comfort and service
Couldn't be more pleased to have found Tyacks Hotel. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Room was large, quiet and comfortable. Bathroom also large with huge towels. Extremely clean everywhere. Food in the restaurant was of a high quality and well priced. Breakfast was cooked to order. Sunday roast to absolutely die - superb! Well stocked bar with very good selection of local real ales. Free parking too. We won't be looking for anywhere else to stay in Camborne.
We had a quiet back room which was fabulous apart from being just out of reach of the hotel wifi. Not a huge problem to us though. Wifi was good elsewhere in the hotel and there were plenty of comfortable places to sit if necessary. Front rooms could, I imagine, be noisy from the street but as it's a town centre hotel it's to be expected.
Good room and restaurant / bar food and prices made it not worth going elsewhere for meals. Central location for west Cornwall days out.
Good location, excellent food
Just a bit of noise from bar but when you know it's there it's not a big deal
The rooms were very clean and comfortable.Staff very helpful and had a great stay at TYACKS.
Music a bit loud but did sleep well.
The young staff on reception were friendly and helpful in booking taxis, finding us a quiet room and getting towels for the room when requested.
We had requested a quiet room on the booking form, but this had to be rearranged on arrival. The gluten free food request was only passed to the kitchen on arrival, so too late for breakfast the next morning. The room was short of towels.
Friendly and helpful staff. Large room with good bathroom en-suite. Good food with adequate choice. Adjacent car park. 'Angel' - the house cat!
Lack of lift - door on stairs makes awkward access to upper level. Noise from disco etc.
Room large and warm
Breakfast was overcooked. We both had the impression it had been cooked earlier and kept warm as bacon and fried bread was hard and crisp and sausage was overcooked
Staff were brilliant. Room was really spacious and cosy worth the up grade
Unfortunately the restaurant left a lot to be desired with an over zealous chef and breakfast was good but the pots were dirty and had to be changed twice
Bathroom, food, beer, Wifi, coffee and hot chocolate in room, car park, staff.
Noisy sash window, curious and penetrating wurring noise from bathroom(when fan off), Music across the road, plastic mattress cover.
