My wife and I were upgraded to a suite as the kind receptionist told us that because they have live entertainment at the week-ends it can be a bit noisy !

Ideal location for the Trevithick Day Parade. The TV's not working and the next room's bed hitting the joining wall in the early hours. Or maybe it was a ghost !!!

Staff are worth every penny you pay them plus a little bit more even the kitchen staff because they can only use the ingredients. You give them. Quality of food has gone down hill since the last time I stayed. Do you source your food from your local supermarket ? Tinned mushrooms and wafer thin bacon is bad enough but your sausages look as if you have been cooking them since the evening before and they taste like it but they are barely warm. Would be disappointed if they served your breakfast in the services on the motorways.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. Our room was amazing! Suite 1 has a four poster bed and a roll top bath in the bedroom with Jack & Jill handbasins....so much space. The main bar was busy and had entertainment however we did not suffer any disturbance. The restaurant was good with attentive staff and good food at a reasonable cost. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice and plenty of it. I would highly recommend this hotel based on quality of service, food and overall standard of hotel. N/A

Room was very clean, very nice facilities. As advertised on their website they do hold a Friday night rock band night which finishes at 12, the noise wasnt only slight it was horrendous. Even after 12 the noise of traffic and other guests were quite loud and I was unable to sleep well.

Primarily we booked it because it was within easy walking distance of the rail station and was the only hotel visible using the google earth system. On arrival and for the entire stay the staff were efficient and Politite ( chatty ). Normally the room cost was £85 but we got it for £65 and this included breakfast which in my opinion represented good value. The breakfast was the climax priced at below £8 it has to be the largest and the most delicious full english I've had. Not a complaint. However one observation. Walking from the station when you arrive at the hotel it is not clear exactly where the hotel entrance and reception are.

Staff were excellent and friendly, particularly when my wife who has a medicalcondition- became unwell and they called for medical assistance for us. Mitch the paramedic who turned up almost in minutes of the call was a real star and assessed the situation immediately- putting all our minds at rest. A huge thank you to all concerned. The rooms were clean, bright with excellent facilities and a good bathroom/shower. Breakfast and evening meals were nothing less than impressive - serving good wholesome food. Good location for exploring Cornwall/Devon.

We were all at Camborne for a family wedding and booked the whole hotel for two nights of our six night stay. The ages ranged from 2 years old to 85 years old and everyone was catered for with efficiency and kindness. Rooms were comfortable and meals were great! On two occasions one after midnight and one at 5.10am we were woken by the telephone and accused of opening the fire door to have a smoke. We have never smoked and to be accused so rudely in the night was disappointing to say the least. The fire door alarm for Room 11 must be faulty.
