The staff and the wonderful meals

The food was absolutely amazing, way beyond good. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Good atmosphere, very old building.

Next time would book a room away from the road.

Beautiful old pub with lots of charm and lovely rooms.

A little disappointed in the staff, I thought they were a little surly. You can also hear a little bit of road noise from the rooms.

The Hotel's staff were generally very helpful Hotel has lots of character and history Food (breakfast) was a high standard

Poor internet connection Resident's were not catered for very well in the evenings when the bar and restaurant were swamped with non-residents.

I think this was a very good value. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. A very nice breakfast. A good place to relax with a book.

It is a bit close to the road, so ask for a back room for quiet.

We loved the authentic, historic feel of the place! The decor was so idyllic, my friends remarked that the pictures looked like a "movie set of what Wales should be." It was close to several castles and the beautiful mountain landscape of Snowdonia. We also had an amazing dinner (be sure to make a reservation - they were completely booked!), and completed the trip with an impressive breakfast, included with the booking. I will definitely be returning, and highly recommend this B&B.

Cosy relaxing location, very friendly staff, excellent food at value for money prices, period fixtures and comfortable accomodation.

Mix up on final billing, but this was put right without too much fuss.

Excellent food. Nice olde world feel. Bar area comfortable and cosy. Warm fire and snuggly cushions on your chairs.

The first room we were shown was appalling and certainly well over priced. The second room which had been refurbished was adequate

Bathroom was a bit small and the log fire was not lit which was disappointing.

Pretty Hotel dating from 1690 with friendly and helpful staff. Very good food at very reasonable prices.

Absolutely everything. It's the perfect romantic getaway. You MUST book for evening meals in advance as they're always fully booked. Food is excellent! the hotel is old world style and is stunning. We're most definitely going to book again for next year. Can't wait.
