Very little however this is a Hotel that struggles to meet a 4 star rating but places requirements on their guests that the 5 star Hotels we stay in would never dream of requesting. The staff were over the top for a Hotel of this classification. Services may well have been Ok but coat and tie for Dinner. Then the real push to keep us out of the way no Denim in Public areas after 6PM. You have very little choice other than go out and drive to the nearest Pub to have a meal. Breakfast was included and they did at least allow us in to the restaurant at this time even though I only had Jeans to wear. While the Hot dishes are presented for your selection in the normal Bistro manner you must wait for one of the staff to serve it and they are very careful to ensure you don't spill any on the way back to your table for what the staff served were the smallest hot Breakfast during our 5 weeks in the UK. Our 3 Day stay at this Hotel was for us unpleasant to say the least and it is a pity given we enjoyed so many of the other Hotels during our stay in the UK.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel 15 years ago on her 50th birthday and had a wonderful time. I selected Tynley Hall to celebrate her 65th birthday as a surprise and the hotel was as good as we remembered. The restaurant was first class with an added touch of "happy birthday" on her plate with candles and happy birthday on the piano. We only stayed on the Saturday this time but had a very enjoyable experience.

Very attentive staff. Beautiful Victorian surroundings – comfortable and elegant and very good food. Gym and spa and large grounds with an adjacent golf course. Not a cheap hotel but something a bit special.

Very Average - The Breakfast was the worst I have ever had at a Hotel. The Hotel was too full so all the facilities were fully booked. Will not be returning

We spent our wedding night at Tylney Hall 15 years ago and promised ourselves another visit for a significant anniversary. We were very pleased to see that the high standards we first experienced were still the same. We were welcomed at reception and our check-in was actioned quickly and efficiently. We found that the staff were very helpful and attentive without being overbearing. All aspects of the service during our stay were prompt, friendly and unobtrusive. The staff were particularly kind when I had an 'accident' with my water glass at dinner - their swift actions and reassurance was most welcome! We enjoyed the facilities in the pool area and noted that everything was very clean and tidy. Our room was delightful with views onto the gardens. Thank you Tylney Hall for another memorable stay. We felt that the surcharges in the dining room were unneccessary. In addition we felt that vegetables should be included in the meal not an 'extra' to be ordered.

Splendid country location; magnificent building. Reception and concierge staff excellent and very helful. Room service also very good. Room delightful, well appointed and clean. No air conditioning (on a very hot weekend) but a useful fan provided. Restaurant/refreshment service occasionally erratic.

We loved the service......the staff made a very special effort to engage with us; we loved the food, the quality and style of the dishes. The architecture was beautiful and in wonderful gardens. It was all even better than we anticipated!

I love this beautiful old building and it's surroundings. I was here when it was a school and always knew it was a special place, but you have restored it , and it's grounds to their former beauty. I would recommend a stay here to anybody. The staff are very helpful and polite.the rooms are bright and airy.

This place was brilliant for our dalamtian - she was in heaven with all the grounds to run around in. The charge for dogs to stay is one of the highest we've paid (£25) but for that they brought dog bowls and a dog bed and ball for her. The rooms set aside for guests with dogs are in the grounds rather than the main house but that was perfect for us. The outdoor pool is fantastic. We'd have loved to have had the afternoon tea, but it has to be booked in advance as all the treats are made fresh, so worth booking ahead.
