television in bedroom much, much too small. made our eyes ache trying to watch it. gave up in the end. also slightly dissapointed with one main meal of sea bass, with two potatoes and spring onions of which was impossible to cut or eat. (should have complained)

Staff, evening meal, breakfast menu, rooms, grounds, atmosphere, outdoor swimming pool, service, customer service.

We felt that the indoor leisure facilities (swimming pool area) were "old fashioned", small changing rooms, small sauna and jacuzi was uninteresting.

Vickt at reception prior to our arrival was excellent at pre-booking Spa for us. She made the extra effort for our weekend to be a relaxing, stress free venture! So we thank you for excellent weekend!

We had a wonderful stay at Tylney Hall. The staff were very accomodating to any request we had, the setting is lovely and I can only imagine how lovely the grounds would be in summer. We stayed with our 7 month old and 2.5yr old and at all times were they made to feel very welcome also. We will definitely be going back.

The only real improvement to be made is the temperature of the pool/whirlpool and the poolhall. It was absolutely freezing and everyone was shivering.

this hotel never fails to make you feel most welcome, and very relaxed during your stay with them. we love this hotel, have stayed there on and off through the past 20 years, and have never been disapointed.

Nothing, really, this hotel is relatively close , and raises the question how far do you have to travel for a place to be 'exotic'?

Everything was 1st class

The room and the surroundings were very nice and the accommodation was very comfortable. The staff were very helpful and we had a relaxing stay.

What I think would be better if the hotel had a brasserie giving a larger choice of eating places and perhaps other menu opportunities.

We were there for a wedding, beautiful surroundings, especially with the Christmas decor.

We had asked to check in at 2pm as we had a wedding at 3.30, it did not seem unreasonably early. Instead when we arrived we were told that the room was not ready & they suggested we get dressed in the leisure area charging rooms! Luckily friends did have a room that we could use as we didn't get our room until 3.20... So beware, a night's stay does not include a great deal of the day!

Excellent location, friendly polite staff and an 'air' of luxury and pampering for guests.

Staff very friendly. Diner excellent. Facilities good and gardens lovely. Setting was quite formal, but that is part of the charm.

Our room was in an outbuilding away from the main hall. It would have been nice to stay in the main building.

Very slow serving dinner and a bit slow serving food/drinks generally. No wifi in rooms (though they say they will install this). Prices beyond room rate quite high.

We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. It was so peacefully quiet. Although we only stayed for one night it felt like much longer. We booked dinner in the Oak Room (gentlemen have to wear a jacket or tie) - the food was fantastic, the service was very good and we loved the man playing the piano playing in the background. The choice at breakfast was vast and nicely presented. The grounds are vast, with an outdoor pool and a small indoor pool with jacuzzi.

We pretty much loved everything about it and will definitely go there again - but the one thing that bugged me was that the bed was too soft. It was very warm in the bedroom too - but there was a fan plus the windows could be opened. Also the water in the indoor pool and jacuzzi was quite cold and the changing room with lockers was very small.

The location and style of the hotel was 1st class, along with the personal touch and the consideration of the staff. The breakfast was the tastiest we have ever had. The evening meal was also excellent. The room was very clean and very comfortable. Would certainly stay again and would also reccommend it to friends and family an all round great expierience.
