Very friendly Fantastic generous breakfast Upgraded me to a larger room without me asking I would stay again. My room was very cold at night and no additional heat on offer except spare blankets. Its worth mentioning that the temp outside was below freezing, but I feel that there should have been a plug in rad for such occasions to maintain comfort.

Enjoyable breakfast - option of cereals, fruit juice, fruit and full fry up with toast. Margaret the owner is also very accommodating. Decor is very outdated and although clean for the main part the furniture, bedding etc was very old and worn. Could do with some modernisation and some fresh linen.

Friendly, welcoming hostess, Margaret also cooks a mean breakfast. I can recommend Tymparon Hall as a quiet retreat close to Penrith and the Lakes.

Margaret, the owner is very friendly. The breakfasts are just wonderful. The location is peaceful. There is a good pub nearby, The Clickham Inn, which serves great food. Describing Tymparon Hall as a hotel is misleading. It's actually quite a small B&B. Consequently, I expected Tymparon Hall to have the facilities of a hotel, i.e. a bar and perhaps food. I expected something 'grander' due to the description on the website. You should state on the website that there is s 2% charge for paying with a credit card.
