Great location, fantastic scenery, good hotel, excellent and friendly management and staff. First time I've stayed here but I hope it won't be the last. Really good.
Mark and Julie are fantastic hosts. I look forward to staying there again when I am next in the area. View from the restaurant...wow.
Room, food, location, warm welcome.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice ales in the bar.
Room was quite noisy, could hear every step in the room above and could not open window because located next to road. Very little space for a suitcase. No wifi in the room, only in lobby.
Very kind friendly warm welcome
Shower over flowed onto floor ...but not end of world
The owners were really accommodating, the views from the room were outstanding and the food was great! Look forward to staying in the future!
very homelike atmosphere. mark the manager couldn't do enough for us
Everything, the guest house, the wonderful staff, the beautiful gardens and the meals were just amazing.
The view, the food, friendly owner, nice walk to town
Location - view from bedroom window Breakfast - best bacon I've had in a long time
Noise of the A5 even though it was quiet compared to where we life in the SE of England
We were well received. Fooid was good and the accomodation was very comfortable.with free wifi. excellent views Good location as a base for viviting North wales holiday areas
Peaceful pleasant and excellent food
Back bedroom poor view
location, parking, host, breakfast, comfort of room, views from place.
Side room had air conditioning unit outside the room (or something like it) that kept kicking in and was abit noisy, only a minor point in a lovely B & B.
location, friendliness of staff, food.
everything, dobule room at the price of a single room
only bath tube and no shower (had to standing in small space)
Conveniently located close to Llangollen with easy free parking. Pleasant guest lounge and dining room with lovely views. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Rather old-fashioned décor in the bedroom. No Wi-Fi and very poor internet reception.
As a solo traveller I was made most welcome and felt comfortable being there. The room was lovely as was the rest of the building and its location. Breakfast was excellent, wish I'd been there for dinner. Would definitely return
Can't think of anything I didn't like. Didn't find a hairdryer but I didn't look too hard - I had my own as I didn't expect one in the room
friendly hosts, good hearty breakfast.
The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The facilities were excellent, including lovely fluffy towels. The Welsh breakfast set us up for the day. There was a good choice of meals on the dinner menu which were freshly cooked using local produce. The views were stunning and were especially appreciated from the dining room. We'll definitely visit Tyn y Wern again as Mark and Julie made us very welcome.
There was absolutely nothing to dislike about Tyn y Wern.
Mark and Julie made me feel very welcome and rightly pride themselves on their customer service. rooms are well furnished and very clean.
breakfast was a massive let down, advertised as a hearty welsh breakfast ? reality was one under cooked rasher, sausage and egg.
Lounge and dining room a bit barron.
Not too far from the center of town. In walking distance. very good meals and room was very nice.
