I think the best thing about ufford park were the staff. No soap in bathroom, only dispensers that could only be reached if standing for shower,3 tissues left I box I bathroom.Towels were hard, tiles in bathroom needed spring clean. When I spoke to duty manageress after I had given myself time to reflect on our stay she told me that I paid basic and that was what we got.Isaid I had paid less in hotels as far as Fiji and back arouned the world but we at least had a bar of soap, she said I should have gone to reception and asked for a bar, she then sais the dispensers should suffice I said that she should go sit in one herself and see how far she could reach.I Live 30 minutes from Ufford Park and was so looking for a small bit of luxury and sadly had none at all.My room was 410 and if I had known it was along corridors and a small flight of stairs I would have asked for a lower room. Mrs g a cook.

Comfortable, staff were very good and the leisure facilities were good In general it was a very pleasant stay, apart from the comments below. The room was satisfactory apart from the duvet which had human hairs from the previous usere. Also the room ask for was a quiet one but the people nest door were loud and not very considerate by shouting at 1 am in the morning of the Satruday night.

We liked the fact the room was spacious and looked out over the golf course. The swimming pool was fantastic and we did the two mile walk which was great. It is a fabulous location and felt very relaxing. Our room was a non smoking but it smelled of smoke anyway. The hotel is a little bit down at heel but charming. The breakfast had been sitting around since 7am and so by the time we got there it was pretty horrible. The dining room was quite basic. The overall experience though thanks mainly to the staff was very pleasant. Slightly overpriced bearing in mind the state of the furniture and fixtures and fittings (the curtains in our room were hanging off the rail!)

Two things stood out: with one exception (see below) the superb quality of the staff; and the quality of the breakfast, which was one of the best we have had in a hotel. Two things again: the fact that the restaurant was serving only a carvery (we had anticipated a la carte); and the poor quality of the bar staff, who seemed to have been badly selected, under-trained and poorly managed. They weren't doing anything approaching a professional job.

Spa treatment was lovely would go again! View from the room was lovely too. Had cigarette ends on the balcony, and its a none smoking room reported it was told they would clear it but never! Room for a superior a bit disappointing for price, quite small and dated.

Location close to Woodbridge as we were attending a wedding with friends Hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helpful Rooms were too warm as there was no air conditioning and built on one low level meant that the heat was concentrated A long walk with luggage from reception to the allocated rooms with no offer of help to do so

Large room and space in the dining room Room needs a good clean, especially the carpet. Parts of the newspapers delivered to the room were missing. No chance of a lay in because of the noise from the mowing machines.

It happened to be handy to where I wanted to be. Buffet style breakfast suited me. The helpful cleaner (see comments in "dislike" section) Where I have not commented in the "Tick box" section There was such a mixture of impressions it is impossible to give a straight answer to the unanswered questions The Receptionist was singularly unhelpful to an 81 year old carting 2 heavy bags, unused to the room key system. She did not explain what the key card was nor how to use it. Having lugged the bags what seemed like miles along the corridor to my room I was unable to get in. I retraced my steps, without bags, to where some cleaners were servicing other rooms, some distance away, where, when I asked for assistance the young lady did what the receptionist should have done. She; Offered help with bags. Came to my room and explained the use of the card (which I had assumed was just an advert for taxis) Picked up my bags and deposited them where I wanted them. Asked if I needed any help with anything else.

Everything! Couldnt fault the Reception Staff, we were able to get into our Room early, after a long Journey that was much appreciated. The Room was amazing, nice and spacious and a Balcony overlooking the Golf Course what more do you need. The Bar Staff were very helpful and the Food was lovely. We ate in the Restaurant every night which was lovely and good value for money plus again the Staff were very polite and courtesy. The Spa was amazing the Thermal Suite out of this world, the treatments were brilliant, a very enjoyable and relaxing time was had. Once again you could not fault the Staff very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. A fantastic 3 Days. There was only 1 thing I didint like and that was the Bathroom when you flushed the toilet it was so loud sounded as though it could be heard by all the Hotel. And I would prefer the little bottles of Toiletries in the Bathroom as it was hard to get shampoo out of the big Bottle attached to the side of the Bath.

Helpful staff, good menu choice for bar meals during the day and evening. Breakfast choice was good, but cooked breakfast items were served on a buffet basis. When we went to breakfast at 8.45am, items looked as if they had been there for a long time, and not very appetising.

I love the setting of this hotel, with the possibility of good walks around the grounds/golf course - very relaxing. We have 4 month old twins. Although the hotel is family friendly with lots of kids around, we found the layout of the hotel difficult to manage with two babies, as the lift was at the opposite end of the hotel to our room, which meant either carrying all our stuff up a spiral staircase or finding a trolley (no luggage trollies, just catering trollies available) and going up the lift and negotiating countless fire doors to get to the room!

Facilities and staff very good. Ability to take meals at any time in the bar was a useful bonus. The surroundings and views from the public rooms were very good and well designed. The shower over the bath was not easy to access with no handles on the bath or any convenient and the bath was very slippery.
