I think the best thing about ufford park were the staff.No soap in bathroom, only dispensers that could only be reached if standing for shower,3 tissues left I box I bathroom.Towels were hard,tiles in bathroom needed spring clean.When I spoke to duty manageress after I had given myself time to reflect on our stay she told me that I paid basic and that was what we got.Isaid I had paid less in hotels as far as Fiji and back arouned the world but we at least had a bar of soap, she said I should have gone to reception and asked for a bar, she then sais the dispensers should suffice I said that she should go sit in one herself and see how far she could reach.I Live 30 minutes from Ufford Park and was so looking for a small bit of luxury and sadly had none at all.My room was 410 and if I had known it was along corridors and a small flight of stairs I would have asked for a lower room. Mrs g a cook.

The staff were courteous, friendly and helpful. We had a very relaxing stay. The food was excellent. We would definately stay at this hotel in the future to explore more of Suffolk.

Convenience of location & facilities - altho' we are not golfers! We thought that the restaurant was sadly lacking in atmosphere - no decent menu (a la carte!) - young staff were very unprofessional - not the standard one would expect at such a venue & price!

Excellent location for exploring Suffolk, both the coast and inland. A good range of facilities, ranging from pool, golf course, 2 mile fitness trail, to quiet lounge, comfy room and endless parking. I couldn't find anything not to like!

Helpful staff and relaxed atmosphere My booking was made by my daughter-in-law for my grandson's Wedding. Our room, and the rest of the party, had very nice rooms, however, the room allocated to my daughter-in-law, was awful; there was only one bedside table, a view over a flat roof and a funny smell in the room. Her name is Jacalyn Fensome. She did not complain as we were only there for one night and there was little time as we checked in to change and leave for the wedding. I do know my daughter-in-law was not very happy with her room.

The staff were extreemly helpful and made our room up earlier than the normal booking in time as we had a family wedding to go to! The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. The view from out of our balcony window was quite breath taking especailly for my husband as he is a golf enthusiast! I thought the numbering of the rooms a little frustrating where as it is nice not to see signs all over the place with arrows to tell you what rooms are where but there appeared to not be enough!

Convenient, useful having pool. Served our purpose Only real dislike was quality of coffee. In keeping with the majority of hotels it seems they too have succumbed to buying the cheapest brand. Could not finish it.

The staff were excellent. Everyone was helpful and efficient. The hairdryer only blew out cold air and the cooked breakfast was cold. I know you can't help it but the pool was full of loud children and we had paid for a relaxing spa day.

Food is ok. The English Breakfast is prepared daily and have lots of selection. The dinner's menu, however, has limited choices. The relaxation facilities, including health club, golf and spa are very good. My only comment is the charge for 0-800 calls. While in most hotels I have stayed in the uk, the rate is fixed (about 1.00 per call). I was charged on a per minute rate and this just doesn't feel right. I almost have to argue to get the charges taken out (In the hotel menu, it is stated as 50p fixed rate.).
