I had specified on my booking form that I wanted two beds in the room yet when I arrived there was only one for myself and my father. After informing the staff I was told there was nothing else available and that notes written on booking forms are not seen or actioned by them. |

Location was very convenient. Room was very clean and comfortable. Food in the restaurant was first class. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are a bit on the small side and look like an upmarket student room, but it suited my needs. Some reviews have said that it was noisy because of the close proximity of students. From my own experience, students caused me no problem whatsoever. The doors in the rooms are very noisy when being closed and this did cause a disturbance from guests arriving back late or guests getting up really early in the morning. |

Space in room. Good desk surface (enabling letter-writing - unusual in hotels, and very welcome), Comfortable. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. Disastrous fire-alarm arrangement, resulting in evacuation and then further disturbance in one night. Link-up with student quarters next door is asking for trouble! I hope those (students) responsible have spent time in the stocks; miserable specimens. |

The only thing I liked about the hotel was it's location and the low cost parking close by. Whilst I know that smoking rooms cannot be guaranteed, it was very disappointing that having booked the room over two months in advance all the smoking rooms had been given to people attending a conference in the building. It felt very much like it was a conference centre first, hotel second. Our room was very small and certainly did not feel like it was worth what we paid, we both felt like we were in student accommodation. The bathroom was tiny and unlike every other hotel we have stayed in, there was only a shower facility. No option for a bath. Overall, compared to other hotels we have stayed in, The Days Hotel Manchester was shockingly poor. We checked out at 10pm and returned home, did not stay the night or for breakfast. |

Friendly staff especially in restaurant Small rooms - I would have classed the double we had as a small single !! The bedroom was extremely hot and being effectively on ground floor (courtyard) could not safely open the window. |

the best thing was possibly the location of the hotel itself being so close to the venue we wished to visit - however there was a Ibis hotel adjacent which appeared more comfortable and welcoming |

The rooms have been refurbished recently - quite small but what else do you need? Good quality for a cheap price The TV colour wasnt set right - everyone had a perma tan but you couldnt change this with the remote in the room |
