Upon arrival the man on reception was not very pleasent when I asked what the charge was go on my card for, saying he had already told me, it left me not wanting to ask for directions or anything else to help me enjoy my stay

Cheap and cheerful hotel 15 mins walk from the main shopping centre. Cheap parking across the road £2 per day at weekend which is brilliant for Manchester City CentreM. Rooms basic but clean and as we were only sleeping there couldn't of asked for anything better. Reception staff were nice and friendl. Would stay again This is only personal preference but didn't like having one side of the bed next to the wall but for one night can put up with it

Depressing rooms, depressing location and not great value for money. This hotel lets down the Days Inn brand I think as I've stayed in other Days Inn hotels that felt much better than this one. They also completely ran out of stock one night of everything on the room service menu!! It was a busy weekend for Manchester, but this was a classic example of someone not planning ahead!!

It is an academic environment that gives me some sense of belonging and security as if I'm at home. Similarly, I noticed the heater has been worked upon as against last year November when I lodged there. This also improves the comfort. However, further improvements can be made I'm entitled to one night free lodging as a member of Wyndham Rewards. I have stayed up to five days during my visits to Manchester in Days Inn Hotel. This can be resolved towards my next stay

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The stay was comfortable and made far more acceptable by the staff. The rooms could do with a makeover as they are looking a bit "tired". Our room safe didn't work and a lick of paint might have helped the overall effect.

Good hotel for the money, very good breakfast but expensive. Its located near the Manchester University and 10 minutes walk the center ( Picadillly ). The "fair" classification for the Services / facilities was because the Internet was not available in the rooms , (the plug was not good). I had to go to the lounge for working.

Reception staff were friendly and professional. I had requested an upper floor room and was given the top floor which was great. Room was small, but very well planned and very comfortable. Excellent location - close to Piccadilly Station. Would stay here again if I'm in Manchester again.

This was my second stay here. It is close to Piccadilly station and the area is not too uncomfortable to walk alone at night. It is only 10 mins walk to the city centre and 15 to the G-mex.The hotel is quiet except for people slamming doors to their rooms. The lift area is also a little noisy. The room was clean and good value for money. I did not take the breakfast as it has increased in price this time, but there are other less expensive breakfast options. Room doors slamming at night.

Excellent location, 5 min. from the Picadilly Station. Horrible smell in the room, noise - you listen to what the neibours say, single rooms are on the street level and it's impossible to open a window.

Nice but ineffective staff. TV and Kettle worked in room. Room was quiet as requested. The room to say the least was tiny. I booked a double for single occupancy, I would/could not have stayed here if 2 people were booked. Only enough room to get to open clothes hanging area. My understanding is that a double by law has to be accessible from both sides of the bed, this was not possible as the bed was crammed into a corner, neither was there enough room to alter this. I complained and was offered an upgrade for £15 extra. I object to paying £86 for a single room of this standard. Breakfast was dried out and cold.
