Good staff, location and acceptable room standard. No Wi-fi in the room, informed this will change soon. Breakfast, good selection but hot food was quite cold.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and very near to where I was working over the weekend. No internet. The hotel information said wifi in all rooms. A later posting said hardwired access to the internet in all rooms. When I arrived there was neither and I was unable to use my e-mail in the lobby. I had to use the computer in the "cafe" to continue my work which meant consulting 9 colleagues across the weekend. If a hotel does not have wifi or hardwired internet in the room, it is wrong to claim that you have.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to assist us. The room was clean and the lifts worked well. The buffet style breakfast was excellent value for money. The location was very convenient. The name was not immediately obvious and it took me a little while to find the entrance.

good hotel and nice (but small) rooms. OK for students, but not so good for business. I was kept up all night by the people from the bar shouting and playing football!!!

The public areas were very good and the staff attentive. The restaurant was excellent value for money - in fact the portions were far too large for us but the quality was also good. Breakfast was great. This hotel is designed for conferences but not for a comfortable over night. Our room. What a pity after being impressed with the public areas. The rooms are tiny our double was smaller than a single. The first room was in need of decoration and had NO bathroom door. It seemed to come as a suprise to the staff when we told them but they moved us immediately. However second room was just as small. As the bed is against the wall my husband had to climb over me to get to the loo during the night. Size of bedrooms smaller than they appear on photographs.

I really liked the room, comfortable and well designed. Great location, close to a lot of the night action, but also quiet. Walking distance to most sights and to the university. Great value!

It is nice and comfort to stay at the Days Hotel. The single room is a bit small and do not have free wifi at the room.

Great value for money hotel close to city centre. Room was tiny but clean and had everything I needed. Good restaurant. Difficult to find, it's inside a conference centre in the Uni complex, and poorly signposted. Multi story car park is £10 overnight, if you drive round the corner there is free on street parking after 6pm.

The location is great, between the university and the train station. The rooms are a bit noisy, I suppose it is due to poor sound insulation.

The staff was really friendly, both at the reception and in the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was DELICIOUS, a must to eat! I also enjoyed the dinner in the hotel restorant, and everytime it was good. The rooms are quite small but clean and confortable. I stayed there on three weekend, and on friday nights there are noisy people along the hallway!

Easy to find and handy for city I am assuming that it was the other guests that did not appear to know how to work door handles and not the cleaning staff as doors were consistently banged from early morning. None of the door closers appeared to be adjusted properly. This will have to be addressed as I heard several other guests commenting on this.

It's within easy walking distance of central Manchester and what it has to offer I stayed here before 3 years ago and thought it was really nice, hence rebooking, but unfortunately the room we stayed it looked tired and uncared for. Bits of trim were missing, bathroom had obvious signs of water damage but........the room was a decent price so can't complain too much.
