Bijou but tidy bedrooms.
Poor quality of breakfast & grumpy restaurant staff.
Bed very comfy
No bath, hard to find, expensive for drinks
Nice budget hotel, short walk to the center, everything was fine
I really think people who complain about TV channels, length of corridors and other similar stuff should get a grip
Room was a little too warm
Friendly staff Great location close to city centre but quiet location
Very uncomfortable beds Plugs weren't working in room Terrible tv picture and poor phone signal in the room
Location, cleanliness, staff, food and value for money.
Nothing I can think of.
Brilliantly located close to Oxford road but far enough away to still be quiet. Excellent and beautiful rooms and hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely stay here again!
Bed was comfey
Room and bathroom very small for the price.
en-suite shaving light not working.dreadful noise from the extractor fan and door to ensuite had a very bad squeak clearly house maintenance is lacking very difficult to shut bathroom door
* Rooms are pleasant, clean but compact * Great shower!
* TV only had a few channels and only one radio station (Radio 1). No freeview
Room was clean and there were tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits were a bonus. Staff were very friendly on reception and in the breakfast room.
Location and staff when we first arrived (6pm) and left (11am)
Rudeness of staff working at 5am - my friends needed to collect something from my room and we were treated like criminals : disgusting and rude!!
Have stayed a couple of times and both times the staff have been very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spotless and ample enough for 2 people. The shower was lovely too:) also, I recommended friends and I will be looking to stay again in the future.
The only thing, my first stay, I had house keeping staff knocking my hotel door at random times shouting through. I got annoyed because I'd already set my alarm and wasnt pleased to have them disturbing me. It didn't happen the second time so maybe they just got the wrong room the first?
Great, compact clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Superb all you can eat breakfast.
Room was nice after asking for an upgrade but only one small window
Poor menu choice in Hub Very slow service at the Bar
Great welcoming and made to feel at ease
Reception very helpful, excellent room service, good location, The pendulum! And excellent food at the restaurant.
It was very hot in the room, not sure why
Convenient for the City , parking facilities excellent and a good breakfast.
Staff very helpful
Eggs at breakfast. I suggest Cook a few less and replenish them.
Clean and good service at reception.
TV. Could not access other channels apart from BBC2 and the remote control was not working. Could not understand how to use the safe box
The reception and restaurant staff were unfailingly polite, helpful and friendly. A real asset to the hotel.
My room was next to the lift which meant it was a little noisy especially in the quiet hours of the morning. The double room was perfect for one person, I imagine it might be a little small for two.
A short walk from Piccadilly station to the hotel, and a 15 minute walk to the Apollo, where I was working. The room was small but comfortable. Good breakfast. Good value for a city-centre business hotel.
Proximity to Piccadilly station and bus routes. Friendly staff and good food in restaurant.
Location is very good for travel by train. Quiet surroundings. Simple, clean efficient hotel.
The staff were extremely friendly. Made us feel very welcome. the hotel was pristine and nicely decorated. The room I shared was an economical double room, small but very comfy with all the facilities you would hope to find in a hotel room. Enjoyed my stay very much and will more than likely return on my next visit to Manchester.
There was nothing I didn't like. Although if you are staying in the economical double room bear in mind it is quite small and you don't have loads of space. Not that it mattered in my case.
