Should provide wifi free of charge. Then will be comparable to comfort and facilities like the big hotels.
the room was nice, clean and big enough, the area is not touristic so it keeps the multicultural autenticity of London
the location is crowded, you have a disco pub downstairs with music till 1 in the morning and the rail out of the window. maybe there are rooms less crowded
As everybody said - very clean, close to tube, buses, friendly staff.
We've booked triple room. To say that room was small is to say nothing. Its just impossible to stay(move around, walk) 3 persons in this room at the same time. Room size is for one bed, two beds are maximum, tree is just impossible. Thanks god i don't have claustrophobia. Paid wi-fi in 2014 is nonsense, despite the fact that the is not cheap. Well, i could be satisfied with this hotel if it were not for its price. Just keep in mind that most of price you pay is just because of the tube and buses at the front.
Clean Close to tube
Very noisy. Double glazing poorly done. Small bed.
the location is really good, right next to the underground station and bus station, though it is a bit noisy, I still slept well. The room is cute and clean.
wifi in the hotel is not free :(
Clean and fresh room
Proximity to rail line and need to go through beer garden security.
It was close to Centre of London and easy to travel on tube from there. Very good security .Nice clean room and comfortable.
The fact that we did not get breakfast included in the price was not good,£100 a night and no breakfast I think is rather expensive.
Modern, clean room and bathroom (shower)
The hotel is on the main road, next to the cross-roads, opposite a main buus and train station, and over a busy restaurant/bar; but the worst is that the rooms face the underground bridge (here overground) and the trans thunder by until 1a.m and from 5.30 am. Also no breakfast facilities (or so far as I could see any public rooms) beyond the coffee machine. And clothes had to be hung over the coffee tray which was a problem.
Very good location and great costumer servise
Very small rooms No lift
We needed an easy place to meet for a group reunion in Highgate. As we had foreign friends coming it needed to be on a budget but clean and accessible too. The hotel is spitting distance from Golders green tube and had loads of handy buses right outside too that took us to Highgate. They have a good selection of rooms from singles to triples. It worked really well for us - clean, modern and basic, with a 24hr reception area.
Extremely clean with good amenities. Staff was friendly and helpful
Wifi wasnt free.
Clean and good value for money. Easy to get to- right across from Tube.
Limited facilities. Proximity to Tube meant that the trains rumbled past window every 2-4 mins. I'm a really light sleeper so even with earplugs only managed 4 hours kip! But if you can sleep for England- go for it'
I was attending a function in Golders Green - Hotel located close to tube and I found staff welcoming and helpful - Room was clean with excellent facilities - I would certainly stay there again however no breakfast option provided
No breakfast option provided
Location, tube/bus links, air conditioning, shower, helpful and accommodating staff
Hotel has the late bar just below which seems very popular and music pumping.that's fine if you don't want an early night.
Could not fault the room, cleanliness, staff or location of hotel - all was geat.
Lack of sleep due to noise. All the rooms are double glazed but it is insufficient to prevent the almost constant noise from the (overground and main) railway line and main road. Additional inner secondary glazing would help.
Location, cleanliness, fridge in the room, comfortable beds.
OK for me but a lot of stairs for anyone with mobility problems. Bit noisey with the trains going by. Blackout curtains would be a help to aid sleep at night.
very noisy, wifi not free
The room was immaculately clean and well decorated. The staff were very helpful and polite. Thehotel is well situated for shops, restaurants and public transport.
The room furniture was minimal (only one chair) and the second bed was obviously an add-on, with no headboard, reading light or bedside table.
1) Close to underground station and bus stops; 2) clean room, nice and helpful staff; 3) air conditioner in room
1) railway and other street noises behind my window 2) some things didn't work in my room (hairdryer, for example); 3) fee-paying Wi-Fi; 4) The hotel had writen-off 80 pounds ("to ensure my card is valid"- why not 5 pounds??) a week before I actually checked in, then again wrote off the full amount of hotel fees instead writing off the difference. As the staff said 80 pounds would be returned to card a week after. Well, i haven't got anything as yet. Hopefully this will happen finally. 5) Difficult to find a hotel.
One wifi voucher per room per night, we had a room for 3 guests
I rate this hotel highly. It a 5* standard of cleanliness. For a room only hotel it is amazing. A courtyard car area outside downstairs is a nice addition. It's across the road from Golder's green tube station. No extra cost/room supplement for single occupancy. Tea, coffee etc and fridge. All night reception. air conditioning. Top class quality. Anyone looking for room only and full hotel facilities-this is without question a gem. I will return again and again when needing to be in London.
Due to very hot weather windows open and pub next door and traffic very noisey but cheerful social noise and some occasional loud traffic until 3am- however this was a room at front house on to street. With windows closed- noise significantly reduced. There is a quiet air conditioning system which I didn't think of turning on - I quite like street noise. Anyone who wants complete quiet maybe request a room not facing the front. Superb set up all in all though.
very clean, value for money
a bit noisy (under metro bridge)
