The above list are not really relevant ; Ski / Wintersports ? Spa ? Did I miss something . The park was suitable for our needs ; visiting our daughter at Uni . The location was the best feature along with the setting , good landscaping which obscures busy roads which transformed it into a very quiet setting . It did have a touch feel similar to student accommodation but with excellent cleanliness ! The full English Breakfast was of good quality and made the £70 b & b for 2 persons in a desirable suburb of a major city very good value.

Nice campus generally and the accomodation was ideally situated for my visit to the Cricket at Edgbaston. Room in Peter Scott house had everything needed for a good nights sleep. Bed comfy, en-suite shower fine. Staff were all friendly and helpful, Restaurant staff excellent too. The food in there was very filling and enjoyable All in all a nice place to stay - Would certainly recommend to friends.

The place - it's quiet and convenient for the university and the Edgbaston side of Birmingham. The staff are very helpful and friendly It's clean, but needs some updating. Small car park, although there is overflow parking nearby

The locality - Central Easy to Park Room and facilities excellent Reception Staff very helpful Excellent Breakfast I would book to stay again We had to eat late around 9 ish and although the food in the resturant was good, it had been out all evening, and was rather dried up also it was only just warm, so I feel that this was a dissapointment when we were looking forward to a nice meal in excellent surroundings

Location and friendly staff Rooms are tired and need refurbishment. I have stayed before but had to pay a premium for a late booking. The breakfast used to very good now seems to be very "budget".

It was very convenient for the purpose for which we chose it which was distance from Q. E. Hospital. The staff were all nice. The hotel was clean. The beds were uncomfortable and the rooms were dated for the price

Very (agreeably) surprised by the "greenery", trees, shrubs and birdlife The accommodation (Room 416) was basic but adequate and we have no complaints about the comfort. It seems a pity, however, that the fittings (eg window catches, window frames, door locks etc) could not be of higher standard and more in keeping with the status of Birmingham University.

Breakfast Staff are very friendly It is not a hotel or conference venue that you would expect in business. If you are used to going to conferences as a student and wanted a cheap bed then it is fine. It is glorified student accommodateion with a bathroom from the 1980'S. a premier inn is 4x better but none are near birminham uni.

The accommodation is ideally situated for my conference at the Barber Institute of Art. The room is spacious and the surroundings quiet, both of which are conducive to working efficiently. The bus stop outside Peter Scott House is convenient for travelling into the city centre. The restaurant on site provides only a set menu which is quite expensive. A short walk down Bristol Road provides restaurants with better value for money meal options.

“From the momment we arrived the staff could not do enough to make our stay that little more special. Although they were very busy with over 300 people having there xmas parties, the staff re opened the restaraunt just for us. They were all very busy but you would not no this by the excellent service we recieved. The manager served us in the restaraunt & the head chef found time not only to cook us a fantastic meal but came to see us to make sure we had enjoyed his food. We cant recommend this hotel high enough after our stay, we can only say that we will be returning in the very neer future.” Steven, . Brough |
