Location close to university. Single bed in room. Not very comfortable. Only available food the night of my arrival was plain ham sandwiches. £60 per night was far too expensive given the quality of service and accomodation.

Location for hospital. Breakfast. Bed clean but that is really expected. Staff seemed great. Rooms tired. Building tired and in need of refit. Many old room fittings and ancient bathroom fittings. Simple painting might help. Very yellowed especially in halls. Dirty towels left in hallway outside room for entire stay. Had much better quality for less. Sorry. Place just needs some money spending on it to bring it up to even half Premier Inn standard.

1. Breakfast was excellent 2. Staff were friendly and helpful 3. Towels were beautifully soft and clean 1. The room we occupied was not made up until we reported that it had not been prepared for occupation. 2. The lights behind the headboard in the room I was in are not suiitable for reading in bed and one of them was not working.

Excellent green location but still convenient for the city and local attractions - Botanic Gardens/Barber Institute. Bus stop outside the venue, frequent service into town. Very good selection at breakfast. Plenty of parking space. Our accommodation was in the building on the opposite side of the road to Lucas House - whilst breakfast and reception was in Lucas House. It would have been useful to know in advance. Minor quibbles about the bathroom. Shower flow was very weak.

Friendly staff good breakfast comfortable warm room Misleading information -I booked here as it advertised a restaurant (2) . There were no restaurants open at weekend causing me great inconvenience. Poor shower and no rubber mat available for slippery shower base or hand rail

The room was clean and contained all we needed for a short stay. There was a good choice of food for breakfast and all the staff were helpful and friendly. One of our ctiteria when searching for a place to stay in Birmingham was somewhere that offered an evening meal on site. We were therefore disappointed to be told on arrival that the restaurant was closed that evening (Friday 8th March). We therefore had to set out in the cold and wet to find somewhere to eat - the last thing we wanted to do having spent 7hours driving to Birmingham. If a facility is offered it shoud be provided.

Room had adequate, clean facilities. A bit difficult to find; there wasn't obvious signage along the approach. We were still questioning if we were there just outside the door. Also, as it was raining, it was a shame to have to walk between buildings to get to breakfast.
