Location to university Cost
Dated decor Compact and dated bathroom Poor breakfast - stood around too long under the heaters Bean Coffee machines located around the buildings but not switched on/useable
convenience of the location
very dated no facilities in hotel
Quiet location and peaceful gardens surrounding the building.
Bare characterless room. Located in a building separate from the main reception/breakfast facilities. Had to ask staff twice to fill the hot water flask as I would have liked a cup of tea with my breakfast but they were too busy tidying up! So very overpriced.
location is best.
there is lot of noise when room doors are locked or opened. The size of twin bed is very small. The TV in the room is kept at awkward location.
The double bed I booked for me and my girlfriend was not available, so we got a twin room instead and had to join beds together to be close to each other.
Breakfast and clean comfy beds
Convenience to the university. Decent enough shower.
Poor lighting in the room - very difficult to see into the wardrobe. Clunking in the heating pipes woke me at 6am. Awful breakfast. Not even asked on my check out how my stay was! Very poor value for money!
Good value hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and excellent WiFI!
bad smell of room, no elevator, and noisy
The location for Cadbury world was good, staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was very good and highlight of our stay!
The set up of the rooms i.e. they were within a group of 'outbuildings' with access via a 'front door' and then your room door which all seemed to have a 'one key fits all' lock which didn't feel very secure for me and my young daughter. Also all of the doors acted as a fire door and were 'self closing' and extremely noisy! We could hear the doors to each room opening and closing and the walls must be quite thin as could hear toilets/shower/extractor fans from surrounding rooms.
Good location for us to get to Moseley Folk Festival. Attractive grounds, friendly staff, good cooked breakfast. Tea / coffee kettle in the room. Good sized & clean towels.
Rooms a bit functional, v small shower room but not a problem for a one night stay.
Set in beautiful grounds, 10 minute bus journey to city centre, clean, well maintained, staff welcoming, breakfast excellent. Brilliant value
Corridor traffic rather noisy and echoey at night time
Location was good as we went to visit the university. it was ok as 3*.
bathroom was smelling some how although it was clean. shower cubical was narrow. check out time was too early. it should be midday or later.
Clean, good location for University.
Not enough noise insulation. Im a heavy sleeper yet woke up several times - effectively sleeping in the same room as next door neighbours due to thin wall.s
The meeting rooms, the staff, the breakfasts, the landscaping, the beauty of the buildings.
Toilets that did not flush well,
Excellent value for money
Good place to stay if you are in the area for business.
Price Breakfast Proximity to cricket ground Parking
Nothing - all good!
The breakfast was excellent
Having to change our room between our first and second night because of an administration error
Room was spacious and had all the basic needs - even fruit and decaffeinated tea
Room was clean - but looked a bit "past it" - there was a iron burn mark on the floor. Staff were slow on booking in.
Wifi location breakfast cleanliness
Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Reception staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. I would definitely stay again!
