Das Zimmer wie auch der rest des Hotels ist sehr schoen. Das Fruehstucksbuffet hatte ein grosses Angebot und das Zimmer war sehr sauber. |

lediglich das Frühstück. Ankunft 15h, Zimmer fertig 16h, dafür Champagner erhalten. Erstes Zimmer verdreckt, bröckelnder Putz an der Decke, Tapeten lösten sich, Telfon- und Stromkaben lagen unaufgeräumt im Zimmer rum. 2. Zimmer vom Schmutzgrad wie Zimmer 1, aber noch zusätzlich Schimmel an den Rahmen der Badfenster. 3. |

Zentral gelegen. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und hatte einen Balkon. Das Zimmer war abgewohnt und die Tapete war an einigen Stellen kaputt. Die Amaturen im Bad waren rostig, die Vorhänge hingen herunter, die Bilder hingen schief im Rahmen, in allen Ecken war es staubig. Einen Fön gab es erst auf Nachfrage, dann aber sofort. |

Hatten zuerst ein Zimmer zur Hauptstraße (extrem laut, über der Küche), bekamen dann ein kostenloses upgrade (groß und ruhig) Parkgebühr für Pkw pro Tag 12 GBP (teuer, im Vergleich zu London allerdings geschenkt) |

Lage und Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sind unschlagbar ! Das Einchecken hat mehr als 30 Minuten gedauert, da die Buchung im Hotel nicht gefunden wurde und Zimmer zu diesem Preis nicht mehr zur Verfügung ständen. Erst nachdem (via UMTS) die Bestätigungsemail auf meinem Laptop vorgewiesen wurde, kam Bewegung in die Dinge und die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft nahmen zu ! |

The excellence of the staff was, as always, a feature of the hotel. Its location is also excellent, both in terms of Parker's Piece and for meetings in the city. On this occasion the room that we occupied clearly required redecoration. Pieces of wood were chipped from one of the doors and overall there was a sense of a room high on the list for redecoration. |

The bed was comfortable The staff were OK but we weren't greeted and there was noone there to take our bags immediately. We paid £240 for a room with no breakfast and you have to pay extra for parking. Rip-off Britain at its best. Worst of all we had absolutely no sleep due to teenagers/students outside our window the entire night - until 5am. We had to close the windows, which was dreadful because you have no fans or air con and even then we could still hear the noise. We had no warning of this and my husband had to ask for the parking to be knocked off the bill - no member of staff offered any kind of compensation. |

The hotel is conveniently positioned for Cambridge, clean enough, calm enough (though slow), facilities ok. The breakfast was good. It is very dated and very very expensive. For the money, I actually was expecting the honeymoon suite. What I got was a small very ordinary room. To demand a 'yes / no' answer to the 2 questions below is annoying |

It is very central and therefore convenient. The breakfasts were very good. and the room was a decent size. Staff were friendly. The curtains were about a foot too short so light came in early. Hot water came out of the cold tap during the night. The ice machine was missing and reception did not answer the phone despite several attempts to contact them. |

Excellant service and choice at Breakfast, central location in Cambridge Very noisy at night from partygoers on main road outside hotel on their way home in early hours of the morning. Closing window reduced noise but then it was too stuffy in the room |

very friendly and helpful staff. ideaky located for city break. Parking Fees, despite my wife being a Disabled Badge Holder. £14.00 per 24hr stay is extremely high. |

We only stayed the one night - we were attending a Dinner in Cambridge - but particularly enjoyed the views from the restaurant and bar over Parkers Peace and the friendly and helpful staff at breakfast and in the bar. |
