The staff were pleasant and helpful plus the location - if visiting a child at Cambridge University - fantastic. there is car parking though it's tricky and quite expensive..Good biscuits with tea! No Gym or other leisure facilities. The carpets are grim and clash with each other |

Convenience When I arrived, they did not have a record of my accommodation having been booked, Fortunately the staff were able to find me a room and honoured the booking price. |

Continental Breakfast was good. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money compared to other Cambridge hotel prices. The decoration was very tired and needs updating throughout. Ist night was very noisy caused by the drunk people from the bar across the road, this went on until after 2am. We complained to reception and were moved to a much better room, it was bigger and overlooked the park. If we stayed again we would be very particular about which room we'd be allocated before we booked. |

One night the piano was being played by a customer in the hotel reception and it was a very pleasant experience. The room was tiny, no so much space for luggage and very small and old bathroom, the last day we only had cold water. I was expecting from pictures of hotel and due to the location a better room views, unfortunately could not see anything just in front of the window a roof. |

The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was really very nice. it was smackbang in the centre with a lovely park right next to it. The hotel was very tired and our room was cramped and grubby. The hotel bar was freezing cold making having an expensive drink there very uncomfortable. |

Superbly located for city centre, and good for transport links. Very friendly, helpful staff. Spacious, comfortable room; plenty of choice at breakfast for vegetarians. Best of all, no attempt to kick me out when it became obvious I am working-class! |

Proximity to city centre and comfortable room. Hotel reception seemed a little haphazard. Phoned our room twice within 20 mins to check our name and length of stay. Then within another 15 minutes our door was opened by two strangers who had been allocated our room and a new key card!!! |

The location , close to bus service and shopping and colleges was great. The staff were very pleasant and obliging when it came to looking after luggage both before checkin and after checkout. There was a good array of options for breafast and the diningroom had a nice lookout. A toilet brush in the bathroom would have been useful. The room described as a twin room so perhaps some distance between the beds would have been expected. ( I was sharing with my 18 year old son who had a college interview.) |

Unpretentious atmosphere. Within walking distance of the old town. One very helpful receptionist. Did not like cleaner calling at the door on the morning of departure. This is a habit that has crept into many hotels to hurry customers out of rooms. |

Charming building with high ceilings & a cute old elevator; people extremely friendly and helpful. Very good value for money! Breakfast buffet could be a bit more extensive, some decor needs refreshing. |
