The hotel staff were friendly and helpful . The room was very comfortable and clean. A nice touch was the complimentary sherry left out on the landing for guests. Food was excellent .

General welcome and hospitality throughout my two night stay was excellent, friendly attention to detail and service was comforting for a sole traveler. The light alternative breakfast was also excellent.

The good, food (beautifully hot!), welcome and helpfulness of the staff.

Room and bathroom were a little small but comfortable. The 0555 wake up call on Saturday morning from a re-cycling lorry droping its load outside our window ... which the staff apologised and compensated us for ... this we appreciated given that it was not the hotel's fault.

The staff really made us feel at home, the food was great in the restaurant. Worth going just for the breakfast.

I have stayed here on anumber of ocations and do enjoy the hotel and staff. I would like the option of hagis and square sausage for breakfast. Recomend this hotel

El desayuno es muy desorganizado, ni abundante ni variado y algunos faltantes. La habitacion y el baño muy chicos e incomodos, especialmente considerando el precio

L'ambiance très accueillante, le pub très agréable, nourriture excellente et à profusion. Je recommande en entrée le pâté de foie de volaille ! Grand choix de bières et de whiskies. Le personnel à notre écoute, vraiment chaleureux. Les chambres sont situées au-dessus du pub et sont complètement insonorisées, le sommeil profond a été garanti. Joli cottage, grand parking, petit village sympa près des champs, accès au village facile si l'on arrive à lire les panneaux à travers les branches qui les cachent (problème dans tout le pays).

Un bémol, la pression de l'eau dans la douche est faible. Ce qui est apparemment très courant, alors que l'eau en Ecosse ne manque certes pas !

Very poor sound insulation to function room below. Should either not let the rooms, or at least inform residents that there will be a problem.

Local taxi service was poor. Couldnt get a taxi to take us to, or pick us up from a wedding
