very very kind people, comfort, clenliness the guys are very welcoming, we felt better than home ;)
The friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. We were made to feel extremely welcome and our hosts went above and beyond expectations. Great breakfast and a lovely location.
Very good breakfast and friendly
Bedroom was tired dusty and cramped
The animals and food. Everyone was friendly and so helpful. Will definitely stay again.
The pillows could have had a bit more body to them.
The cleanliness, the ambiance, the host who is one of the best people I have ever met. It was fabulous. Where can you go and get a person who will play a baby grand for you, We will go back soon, that's the best recommendation I can give
Flavio is a very attentive & friendly host, for whom nothing is too much trouble. We love animals so the dogs, cats and other animals were very welcome! The breakfast was first class and our room had a lovely sea view. The room also had every facility needed which was excellent! A top class stay with very friendly hosts - we very much look forward to our next stay!
The welcome, the staff, the location, the breakfast, and the pets!
breakfast very good variety. excellent location for walking to coastal path.
bathroom needs updating Didn't get a bath as requested on booking.com
Very friendly owners, breakfast was wonderful
The single beds were very uncomfortable and the room was chilly had to ask for the heating to be put on.
The location The family atmosphere Breakfast Value for money The animals
The staff were friendly and welcoming and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were first class and the accommodation was roomy and attractive. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrace overlooking the sea in the distance. We loved playing with the dogs, such lovely characters. It was great to have fresh towels every day (BIG bath sheets!) and towelling dressing gowns in the room.
The bedroom could do with a light up-grade, but was more than adequate.
freedom to come and go at any time during the day. easy access to beaches and to venues for eating out.
Flavio and his team made us feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, so we didn't go hungry or thirsty as refreshments were readily available and we were offered seconds at breakfast. But that wasn't necessary as you could have cereal etc. ahead of a cooked full English breakfast, which was superb - beautifully cooked and presented and made from very good quality ingredients. If you’re an animal lover then you will love this place! The dogs are super friendly and I wanted to take more than one home with me!
Our room was the Family Room (Tintagel) and it really could do with some TLC. The bathroom was quite grubby so needs a thorough clean and if you’re of more than average height then you won’t be able to stand straight as the ceiling is on a slant! We found the single bed was too soft and the double bed was too hard, so it was difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Hopefully these things can be rectified as I would definitely stay again but in a different room.
the whole stay: hospitality and helpfulness of of owners, the animals (especially the dogs), location close to coast, breakfast and atmosphere
Staff at the B@B are very friendly and offer excellent customer service. Breakfast was very good although never on time but that gave time to chat to the other guests. The room with the sea view is compact but functional. The B@B is 1 mile from Bude which can be reached via the coastal path or by car. I would recommend this B@B.
The shower is best suited to small people due to a sloping roof.
It was a great stay and they went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable. If you are with a car, the town is not far and the coast line is a 5 minute walk from the door and a 10 minute drive down the coast you will find a beautiful spot to watch the sun set. I liked the fact that they are animal friendly
Fantastic people Great breakfast Wonderful dogs Awesome location Relaxing time THANK YOU
Lovely friendly hosts Great welcome Pastoral setting First-class breakfast Clean and fresh Great choice of in-room tea, coffee, chocolate, biccies... Four friendly and happy dogs - and ponies, alpacas, geese, chickens... Easy-going and good-humoured
Shower was always lovely and hot and powerful but the shower and wash-room could do with a bit of TLC
The views were great. James was lovely and welcomed us with tea/coffee and biscuits. Nothing was too much trouble. A great place in a great location and having animals around makes it just a bit special. Everyone was friendly and made us feel at home.
The warm welcome on arrival with tea on the decking. As animal lovers the 4 dogs, 2 cats, chickens, ducks and alpacas were a great surprise. Even after breakfast which was plentiful and delicious we were offered fruit to take with us during the day exploring North Cornwall.
It was our first stay at this B & B, we were welcomed with refreshments and smiling faces. The pets were an added bonus for us and made our stay. The rooms are spotless as are the lounges. The breakfast superb, can I say more ?. You will want to extend your stay that's for sure. Ian, Elena & Daniel. Evesham.
The views and being made welcome, the animals especially Charlie, Dexter and George you can never be bored with them around. Fresh eggs from the hens. Not far from Bude which we liked alot. We will return one day, thanks guys.
A super guest house in a great location. friendly, helpful staff and a great English breakfast. |Couldn't have asked for more.
Spent 2 nights here in August and loved it, room was fine with a great view over the fields and the gardens. With the added bonus of 4 delightful dogs some Alpacas, ducks, geese and chickens and not to forget some Shetland Ponies makes for a fun time and also a miniature petting zoo! Even with the menagerie the house is clean and tidy and well kept The coastal walk is a fantastic stretch of the legs and we managed to walk from Upton to the Manor hotel at wide mouth and back although on the way back we did make use of many of the benches along the way!!! Our hosts were able to advise on good restaurants in the area and advised us to visit the Brendon arms and it was excellent. Breakfast was in a word fantastic and filling suffice to say I will miss it All in all an excellent choice and would be happy to visit again Great hosts, great scenery and good food what else do you need!!!
Bathroom needed a bit of an update
location and views excellent lovely welcome and breakfast very homely atmosphere would certainly stay there again.
