Slightly difficult to locate. For the area excellent value for money. Room decoration was a bit tired, but well furnished with a very modern flat screen TV. Food available on site is predominately Indian cuisine We will stay there again if in that area.

The reception on arrival was excellent. The breakfast was superb. The overall security, location and value for money made it a hotel which I would have no hesitation in recommending. £xternal decoration would enhance first impressions.

Would not class as a hotel. More like a b&B. Quite rundown. We were in a small attic bedroom., No wardrobe, just a rail .First night could not sleep for man talking in bedroom next door, this went on for what seemed hours, walls very thin. We had to be up early next morning, but no provisions for early breakfast.

Very Quiet, had very good nights sleep, also within walking distance of shopping centre. Really handy to have a restaurant on site. Next to Upton Park great the a quiet walk. Could do with better road signs from main road, was a little tricky to find, even with Sat Nav.

Nice family run hotel - excellent staff. Rooms are in the process of renovation. Ours was excellent as was one of the new ones. Make sure you request this when booking. Family run so very tight on staff. Breakfast was understaffed.

good price and location. Breckfast was lovely. We left our key in the room. So the staff kindly let us in right away. When me and my husband arrived no one was at recipestion. We had to wait 10-15min. Our room wasnt ready when we got there. But they gave us another one. Kettle in our room was very old and had limscale in as well the shower. Not very nice. Really needs work.

Not a lot, charged me two different prices on same night for same glass of wine, £1.00 difference. Not good, food was overpriced Didnt like the fact it said hotel and was a b & b at best. Staff made me feel as a femal traveler very uncomfortable, so much so I did not go down for breakfast. Will not return or recomend.

Good quality old place with a sensitively re-vamped room, if not in period, scruffy halls etc, but had some character and was pleasnt enough. No noise disturbance for us, with views over the park..Porter was verty helpfull. The breakfast was a bit low budget, mine was all overcooked even though I requested the sausage and bacon to be 'well done'. Toast was not properly toasted. At least it was a cooked brek, with waiter. Good enough for the price !!

We enjoyed our stay here. The outside of the hotel and the restaurant were very nice and well looked after. Our room could have done with a fresh lick of paint and also the bathroom had a very strong smell of damp. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the big bay window looking across from the park. However I would stop guest from smoking in the rooms as not all guest like the smell of stale smoke and it also a very hard smell to get rid of. I would recommend this hotel, but feel the rooms could do with some improvement.

The hotel is clean and tidy all staff were polite at all times and helpful. It is also close to the town centre and railway station giving good access to London and the sights therein. It is also close to a well maintained Park where on a fine day you can relax and watch the birds and animals that live there.
