Good value for money, set in the centre of town. For a city hotel, breakfast starting at 8:30am is a bit late. I had to depart before breakfast opened. Furthermore the lack of a wake up call option seemed a bit odd for a hotel who undoubtably have customers travelling around the north.

Unacceptable service. The cost of the trip are paid on arrival at the hotel. If you leave earlier than expected, there is no refund. So the hotel can rebook your room and make twice the money on the same room and you are the one paying. The service was not welcoming. The cleanness of the room was unacceptable, the sheets are not changed more than once every 10 days and the only they got changed, there was blood on them. The walls are so thin that you can actually ear anything happening in the rooms next door. I would highly recommend to avoid that hotel.

Close to the hospital and shopping centres, able to eat nearby at reasonable cost. Secure car park at rear with free parking. The accomodation was basic but clean and quiet. Hot drink facilities in the room.

Complete privacy and wi-fi. Short on movie channels for afternoon, price could be a bit less for the size of room.

Room clean and secure parking which I recon is a must in this street. Outside area very rough a lot of hoodies and people walking about with winter jackets with hoods up on a summers evening. Reception area very poor.

Car park seemed secure - it was double gated and heavily padlocked Grim looking but practical and close to kc stadium. Not a great area but plenty to eat nearby. 20 minute walk into City centre.

It was a great location. Thee booking was very easy. The staff were helpful and accommodating about a last minute change of room and the hotel was very anonymous. The mattress was uncomfortable. It smelled dusty and smokey.

“The Proprietors were very friendly and anxious to oblige. The room was spacious with all mod cons and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and Janet, the proprietor cooked everything to your choice and taste. The hotel is a bit far from the City Centre of Hull but there is a frequent bus service to and from town for people who prefer to leave the car at home. The Guest House had a friendly and homely atmosphere whilst some hotels can feel a little impersonal. I am pleased to recommend it to others. ” Barbara, Lancaster, Lancashire |
