Staff stayed behind for us to collect the keys to the room.
Very suspect neighbourhood, had the car locked safe behind 2 metal gates with heavy locks!!. Showers were cold and very low quality. Shower holder was broken. Beds were lumpy, decor was poor, rooms were semi-clean/dirty. No breakfast included - had to drive 15 mins to town for breakfast. Tv angled and positioned to the bed was poor. Tv - you need a magnifying glass to watch it - 15in tv!!! Wifi did not work. No-one available at checkout. Absolutely terrible. I would not stay here - not worth the money.
I liked that it was very quiet at night time. I felt that my car was safe as it was locked in at night behind two sets of locked gates but I could come and go as I pleased as I had a key.
It felt strange not having a dining room or communal area, just cubby hole to see receptionist.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The price.
The area the hotel was in was very seedy. The rooms we booked (2x twin) were NOTHING like the photos on the website. The beds were very uncomfortable. We shared a bathroom and there was no plug in the sink and you needed to be very small to use the loo without knocking yourself out on the ceiling. We were in the attic rooms and one room had a window in the roof with no blind on it so when the sun was up so were you. There were no mirrors in the rooms something which is usually standard. I think we may have been sharing the floor with staff as we were woken at 5 by banging doors and people thundering down the stairs, glad we were only there 1 night.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. It was quiet and we weren't disturbed by anyone. It wasn't the Hilton, but good value for the price we paid.
The hotel could do with some updating, but as I said before, it was clean and comfortable.
Was more like a hostel for the homelss
Quite Central to Hull (place I was visiting)
1)WiFi appeared to be turned off between certain times of night (router disappeared on locations after about midnight and approx. 8am every day). - Also details of wifi code incorrect on info displayed in rooms. 2) No breakfast served at weekends or bank holidays, no staff on duty during these times or when serving breakfast during week. 3) Although price was cheap, facilities were more basic than expected.
Clean and cheap!
Location is horrendous, roughest part of hull!
comfy bed, price, location to where i needed to be at the KC stadium. Had a TV, coffee facilities, clean shower ,the basics really for one night
Wasnt the most appealing of hotels but then it was only £27 a night which i could handle anyway
Value for money, good room, clean, helpful staff.
Too near noisy main road, and no chair in the room
Staff members very polite and helpful. Very clean rooms.
Location. No Wi-Fi (not working)
The bed was comfy
Very poor area, shared bathroom,no breakfast. We are both pensioners and had to climb three flights of stairs to sleep in the attic
Location. Friendly owner. Let me leave my car in car park while I went to KC Stadium.
No breakfast (on Saturday).
Great hotel, and price is spot on, will return
When I first saw the reviews on this hotel I was really concerned, but once I had stayed there, al my concerns was gone, it once upon a time had a bad name but it is in no way like this now, staff was excellent rooms was comfy and food was great, I now stay there every time I visit hull
The staff, very friendly. The bed was comfortable, when sleeping.
Location, notorious for drugs (cautioned by locals) not very clean. sharing a bathroom with other residents bathroom door not able to lock no table to work on laptop Can't sit upright on the bed, due to being in the attic's slanted roof. value for money
Great would stay again cheap clean ten mins walk from the city centre
Good value for money. Secure parking.
No wifi in the room. Rooms could be cleaned about, bedding looked unwashed, no handsoap in the bathroom.mould and dirty walls in bathroom.
Breakfast ok but not a lot of choice
very poor shower water only trickled out and walls very thin. rooms in need of some TLC
Nice value, clean room, nice staff, secured parking area. convenient downtown location.
Walls a bit thin, noise level too high in room next to me.
They were very welcoming after our long journey and very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed staying there and as new owners, they are improving the hotel and updating it, which it needed.
The beds were comfortable and you could leave the hotel as and when you wanted. Room service in the morning to check that we had everything we needed. Staff and were welcoming and polite.
Very basic hotel, the rooms were undecorated, and the tv didn't work. No WiFi. There was a fight going on opposite the hotel on the street, whilst me and my friend was on the top floor, in our room with the window closed, all we heard was the physical fight between a gang of teenagers.
Cheap, basic and clean.I would go again.
Car park seemed rather secure.
Not the best location in Hull, Lucky I was only in the room about 5 hours.
