Vale Resort  

Superb leisure, spa and golf facilities. The staff throughout the Vale Resort/complex were most helpful and curteous. We had a most enjoyable stay and look forward to visiting the Vale again.

All staff were friendly and knowledgeable (reception,valet, housekeeping, spa) Any problems were dealt with immediately and efficiently All facitilites on one site - eating, accommodation and activities

Sat Nav does not direct you to the front entrance, staff are aware of this so perhaps a note could be made on their website about how to find them using Sat Nav Internet was an additional charge per day. I think this should have been included for people who are paying the full rate

Have stayed in the vale many times,like the location the views,cleanliness is of a high standard,staff are very friendly.

Dont really like making negative comments but there were a few things myself and my partner made during our stay.The appearance on some of the staff was quite poor especially in the restaurant didnt look as if theyd brushed their hair quite shabby,not very good first impression when being greeted for your evening meal.Had a lovely experience in the spa but one thing we would suggest is that some kind of door could be put between the lounge area and the water beds area my partner was trying to relax on the beds which is such a relaxing room but couldnt as the ladies in the lounge area were quite noisy,i know you cant stop people chatting but whats the point in having these lovely beds if your cant relax on them.We also had to keep asking staff where things were as they doesnt appear to be any signage eg restaurant spa etc.

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff added to the benefits of location and facilities.

Its location and, in better weather, access to the golf courses.

We were very disappointed that the restaurant was not open. The grill served what we would describe as "mediocre pub grub".

Very good deal for latre booking but will bring my husband next time!

Long walk from where I parked with 3 work bags and my overnight bag, a sign for drop off and pick up would be good

I think the location is fantastic when travelling from the m$ as is its close proximity to Cardiff for leisure. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful and the bar off the reception area is very cool in design, we particularly enloy the Vettriano artwork.

I think the standard of food could be greatly improved - we choose not to eat at the hotel

Excellent standards of service and the room and facilities were above average. The bed was the best ever! Could not fault much. Staff very helpful. Smart colour schemes, clean, and impressively large. Seemed lots of choice of outlets. Golf nearby was the best and best valued course we have played.

F&B standards not bad but not up to the rest.

Excllent setting. Great facilities. Not too far from Cardiff if you want to shop. A golfer paradise

The hotel resturant service was very poor for dinner and at brekfast. we waited 10mins even before being greated and directed to our reserved table- disappointing

Because it was St valentine's weekend we could not book the restaurant at a convenient time for the children.
