The relaxed friendly atmosphere
Hotel was great and made you really welcome. Everything was there so you didn't have to ask.
Location, room, breakfast, WiFi that worked, staff.
Bit noisy one night. (from outside) Parking looked like it could be a problem but we travelled by train. parking anywhere in Blackpool is a problem though.
The room had everything you needed
This was a lovely ,comfortable and very homely place to stay. Steve and Tony were lovely people who made us feel very welcome. Our room was spotless as was the toilet/shower, with clean towels daily. Breakfast was superb, full english went down a treat. Highly recommend this place :)
Very clean, comfortable and everything you could wish for and a little more. Nothing was too much trouble...
It was a bit too warm but rooms had a fan, so slept with window open and fan on.
My wife and I stayed here from 19th August to 22nd August in room 12 for our 3rd wedding anniversary/honeymoon. Steve and Tony were very friendly and extremely helpful, Steve also went out of his way to help me organise some surprise flowers for my wife. Our room was fantastic, modern and spotlessy clean, with nice touches like slippers and dressing gown. Our breakfast was perfect it was so filling we didn't need to eat again until teatime ! We loved our stay here it made our holiday perfect. We would recommend anyone to stay here,it is first class and we will be returning as soon as possible.Another big Thank You to Steve and Tony.
Nothing, everything was great!
large comfortable bed very good breakfast good service helpful staff
very small breakfast table rather small room small bathroom
It was clean Welcoming Stayed in a family room which also had a private room for kids Toiletries Everything you could need was provided
Too much air fresher/scent in corridors
It was nice and clean and close to the centre, but nor too close. The owner was a lovely friendly chap and his colleague was nice with a good dry sense of humour, breakfast was great and plentiful
When I first booked it, I missed the fact it was for only family and couples but they were kind enough to still let us stay there, but sometimes I felt we were on tenterhooks and we had to watch what we did. I know they have had problems in the past but you cannot tar everyone with the same brush as we were fine and didnt do anything silly, and when I asked if we could return I was told "you know the rules" so be warned if you are a group (there was 3 of us) you will not be allowed...shame as it is a good hotel
From the moment we arrived Stephen made us feel very welcome giving us plenty of local knowledge of places to visit, and recommendations of places to eat which we did and was not disappointed with. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice and kept you going well into the afternoon. we really enjoyed our stay and would defiantly stay there again and recommend the Valentine to friends and family.
What a great place to stay, very friendly staff. Most importantly this hotel is very clean. Nice room, Great Breakfast and all this for a great price. 10/10 Look forward to coming again.
Friendly & helpful owners, cleanliness was second to none (my partner is very particular at such things) great value for money, breakfast super for setting up for the day.
Only one slight downside, we had the family room which is at the front of the hotel, therefore as with children we were generally in bed reasonably early 10-11, what with the clubs and others making there way home at 4-5am it did get noisy, but it was the weekend & to be expected....
Room fabulous; breakfast fantastic; hosts friendly and welcoming. Everywhere was immaculate and nothing was too much trouble. We had a lovely stay with Tony and Steve- The Valentine is a credit to you both!
Had a great stay at The Valentine, fantastic close location to all sights, made very welcome by Steve and Tony, couldn't help us enough with their local knowledge. Rooms spotless, breakfast very delish!! Would recommend this place to anyone. Make sure you go on the "Big One"!!
Location. Friendly Approachable non intrusive owners. Ambiance. Breakfast. Bar. Décor. Price. No screaming little kids (under 5) allowed. No (drunkard) Stag/Hen parties allowed.
The owners were very helpful and friendly.Breakfast was lovely, and plenty of it.We had the family room and it suited us very well as we had teenagers, and their beds were in a separate room.
Was not the owners fault, just noisy sometimes due to drunk people arriving back in other bed and breakfasts early in morning.
The owners were great nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was lovely. Room 10 was spacious and comfortable. Brilliant selection of toiletries
The friendly,helpful owners
Friendly staff and clean well appointed rooms

Everything, the friendly reception, help with our luggage, advice on eating out, lovely breakfasts, stylish decor and helpful directions to transport and entertainments. Great place to stay, hope to visit again.
The staff were very friendly and the room was kept clean and tidy.
The breakfast was a bit minimalistic, we only got 1 sausage, bacon and eggs.
Everything from the friendly staff to the cleanliness and comfort of the beds, great breakfast, just perfect, couldn't ask for a better place to stay, will definitely be back again.
