Male staff member when I was checking in was very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless, warm and comfortable. Had a microwave and cooking facilities so was easy to whip up a nice breakfast, there are supermarkets nearby and a Tesco express that opened up at 7am. Had nice soap and shampoo in the bathroom. Tiny lcd tv was placed in the top right hand corner of the room and was hard to see and being lcd could only be seen properly from the bed. Lacked a toothbrush in the bathroom. |

Vancouver studios is in many ways like a home from home; I really like the decor, which is individual and homely and unlike the bland surroundings of budget hotels, the location is great, the convenience of having your own cooking facilities is great if you are staying more than one night, the staff are friendly and helpful. I could hear noise from the room above. |

Great location: very close to underground/bus(7), large organic food store and a large gym. Nice bathrooms as well as a full mini kitchen (both are newly renovated looking, appliances in the kitchen look serious) and clean spacious rooms (both double and single) Free wi-fi is very hard to find and they have it!!! Very friendly staff. And of course the rates are great. Will stay again. No elevator, tv's are not high quality, art could be better, but these things are so not important, except the elevator if one is older or is disabled. |

Best-ever budget hotel for both business and family travelers in the centre of London. The Hotel is cozy, beautifully decorated, nice and comfortable. There are not too many facilities, but you can get everything you need there. Rooms are not spacious, but, it's okay for London. Generally, this is a great place to stay for a week or so. Definitely recommended for those who appreciate comfort, location, prices and friendly staff. Lack of elevator might be a minor problem. |

The staff were exceptionally helpful; there were issues with my room on arrival but they were dealt with expeditiously and courteously. The location is quiet and close to Bayswater tube station which links well and quickly with the centre of London. If you are on a tight budget, £75 per night is ok for London. There is no lift. That's fine except for the fact that the stairs to the third and fourth floors are very steep and have - in effect - no banister, but rather a regal looking red "banister" rope to hang onto as you climb. I doubt if this would be a problem for the young and fit. I'm in my fifties and was a bit breathless by the end of my journey. Anyone with any kind of mobility problems would be unable to access rooms above the second floor. I arrived at 2.00 to find that my room had not been prepared. I was immediately offered another which smelled badly of cigarette smoke and, again immediately, a third which was adequate though also smelled a little of cigarettes. Staff were great but there are issues with rooms above the second floor. |

The room was clean. The kitchenette was definitely a plus. The bed was comfortable too. Ready access to supermarkets and drugs store. Traffic on the street outside was minimium. Best of all everything in the room works fine. A little far from Central London. |

Remarkable value for money. Well equipped studio with all you need to self-cater breakfast and snacks. Bathroom small but fitted to a standard well above the price point of this hotel. Lack of lift could put of some (North American?) guests with large cases getting up quite narrow staircases. There was a cigarette butt that had not been removed from my room (albeit there was no claim that I was aware of that my room was designated no smoking). |

Nice studio apartment in good location for a reasonable price. Free internet in my room worked well. Extremely friendly and helpful desk staff. Kitchen has everything you need and stores close by. Quiet considering the great location near Kensington Palace. In room breakfast must be ordered the day before at additional charge, but when you get it, it's enough for two. Rooms and especially bathrooms are tiny by US standards. I'm a size 2 but it could be a problem for larger guests. I was upgraded to a twin studio from a single at no charge to a larger room and only found out when I checked out. Putting another person in this room would have been a challenge. I can't imagine that they had something even smaller! |

Kitchenette plus great location plus free wifi plus friendly 24-hour staff make Vancouver Studios a great value. There's no elevator. Ground floor rooms are available, but upper floor rooms have better views, more light. |

The staff were friendly and helpful - I really appreciated being able to leave my luggage there on my last day until I was ready to go to the airport. And the location is great. The room was small (and the bathroom was very small), but this was my expectation anyway. |

The service was excellent and the price too! They only charged me an extra 30 pounds for a late check out ie at 6pm! If you are staying on the top floor, no lift can be a hassle due to all the stairs but they do take care of the luggage! |

The structure was very nice but the room quiet tiny. The lobby behind the reception and the small garden are absolutely delicious. The carpet in the room didn't look very new and clean In general was good. I was surprised to be asked to pay in advance as this was not clear in the reservation. The total cost I paid is quiet good value for money, but could be better. The real reason I have chosen it was the kitchen. |

The hotel provided quality facilities with everything in the room being fairly new and in full working order. All staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was kept spotlessly clean. The public lounge and garden were beautifully presented. My room was on the top floor, access being by a slightly narrower and steeper stair than for lower floors. On future visits I would ask for a room on the lower floors, if available. |

If you do not mind climbing narrow stairs and small rooms, then in terms of cleanliness, helpful staff and close proximity to a tube station (5-min walk but you will have to get directions in advance) this is a very good place to stay. |

Quiet location. Nice room for price. Modern facilities. Overall very good. Had to walk up four flights of stairs (narrow) to get to room which would be particulalry awkward if you had a lot of luggage. |
